  1. I don’t have an answer to your question. But I have decided to attend another school and gave up my PMHNP spot at UPenn. So there should be at least some movement!
  2. Yes, I am in the same situation! But Vanderbilt is my top choice!! It’s shorter and less expensive than UPenn I believe.
  3. Thank you!! Congrats to you too!!
  4. I got in too for PMHNP!! So excited!!
  5. No problem! And if it helps at all, the person who led the recent Penn Nursing webinars/info sessions said that it is awkward for everyone, and that how you do can only help and not hurt your application.
  6. Yep! They make it pretty awkward haha since you have to do the transition yourself.
  7. Hi, it is a single six-minute recording. They put up all 3 questions on the screen at once, so it is up to you how much time you want to allot to each question and when to start/stop answering each question. Hope this makes sense!
  8. I had to send Vanderbilt transcripts from 3 different schools, and depending on the school/transcript service, Vanderbilt received one transcript the very next day, one in 2 days, and one in 3 business days. I sent them all to the CDM, and I know VUSN got them because I can see that they were attached below the uploads of my unofficial transcripts on the application. Hope this helps!
  9. I'm going to included experiences related to healthcare and to my speciality, but I am also going to include unrelated experiences that showcase a quality (I.e. leadership, helping others, etc).
  10. Thank you! Good luck with yours as well ? I think we will be relieved once everything is turned in.
  11. Your stats and experience are really impressive! You've done a lot while being in school, so I wouldn't overthink it if I were you. I haven't submitted it yet either... I just keep tweaking everything again and again LOL. I probably won't submit it until closer to the deadline.
  12. I have 2 years in between. And you? I really hope everyone on this thread gets in! We clearly can't stop thinking about it ?
  13. Vanderbilt is also my top choice! I am also applying to UPenn and Yale. I considered UMass Medical School but decided not to apply. I do wish I had applied to more though ?
  14. LOL do you want to share where else you are applying to? And is Vanderbilt your top choice?
  15. I am also curious. My nerves are on edge since the deadlines are approaching closer and closer. For myself, I have a 4.0 major GPA (UCLA psychobiology) and 4.0 nursing pre-reqs GPA. Regarding experiences, I've worked in several research labs (psychiatry, clinical psychology) and am published. I also am a medical scribe and crisis counselor.
  16. ? I did the same thing where I opened two applications! Mine looks likes yours, so I think we are good.
  17. Me too! So nervous! When I spoke with the director of the PMHNP program last Spring, I believe she said they receive ten times as many applications than they have spots to fill, but I think she was referring to both the direct entry and pre-specialty combined.
  18. I am also applying for 2022 MSN pre-specialty (PMHNP). I've been waiting for people to post on here, especially since there were lots of posts around this time for the 2021 thread. I'm wondering what the reason is.
