  1. Thanks a lot. You’re a big helper. ♥️
  2. For real! A real OG ?
  3. I’m glad the Professor is good! I need a good prof. to pass. OMG please, that’s what I’m nervous about!! Is that the Med dosage exam you’re talking about? I’m going to study starting from tomorrow. I think they mentioned that in their curriculum in the first fall semester that we're enrolled in. Pray for me. ?? Thank you for the heads up.
  4. @Vee_ Same here. It's pleasing to know that we belong to the same cohort. What courses will you be taking?
  5. I still have human inheritance and way of being to do. Not sure if I need other electives for the curriculum, but they transferred over most of the things I already did.
  6. I believe those are fillers for the 12 credit minimum. I still have to fulfill a few prerequisites leading up to next fall.
  7. @NurseDesiree718Thank you; I'll make sure to do the quizlets and watch Youtube. Yes, I do have (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)-that’s wonderful; his coursework should be a breeze then.Transfer seminar is unquestionably an A; no one could fail it, LOL. However, all of my classes will be in person. Good luck with your clinicals this fall, too! You'll excel at it!
  8. Thank you! I appreciate you thinking about me ? Not going to lie, I’m kind of nervous for stats. What resources helped you pass?
  9. Hey, I can’t believe I got accepted! Starting this Fall with stats, transfer seminar, mindfulness in clinical intervention, world religion and Intro to drama. So excited to begin. So yes Desiree I would be the cohort of 2025.
  10. Hello, I was admitted to the undergrad program, but I do not intend to go. Just a fair warning, their program isn't the best, according to what other students are claiming. Nothing to assist you with. Purely based on a textbook and some slides. Instructors who teach in the lab or clinical sites are few. So, I advise you to start applying to other local programs.
  11. @aniqueee @Ak Jon I received an acceptance to that school, but I'm so happy I don't have plans to attend because I offered an admission to another school to my dream program. Seriously, that would have been a tragedy— Thanks for the info. I hope everything is good with you guys.
  12. @Sarahhopefulnurse I managed to get in! ?
  13. Congrats!! I’m trying so hard to get into the fall semester this year. I spoke to an admissions counselor, they told me they anticipate to be informed of availability by the end of this month/ beginning of July. So I’m hoping for a miracle to happen ?? I’ll keep you updated.
  14. Hey, could you please tell me what nursing program you were accepted into? I applied to a number of nursing schools and was sadly turned down by all of them. I chose St. Joseph's in December and was waitlisted. It's been nearly 7 months. Admissions kept encouraging me to wait until I got a callback and email, then follow-up every 2-3 months to see whether I got in, but I still haven't gotten a response. I have no idea what is going on. I'm not sure when they take applicants. (They stated only 32 out of 100 get in since it’s a small program.) If you have any knowledge about their program, that would be really useful. Thank you very much. I'm praying for the big acceptance letter. ?
  15. Hello! I'm in the same situation as you. The waiting rank I am in is unknown to my RN program, so it’s normal I guess. Actually, you should look into alternative possibilities just in case this program to which you applied doesn't select you or if they prolong the waiting period. Who knows, though; you might want to hold out and see what transpires. You could test both. I'm not sure if this advice will be of any use, but good luck. I hope they'll accept you.
  16. @NurseDesiree718 That’s OK. I got a hold from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). He told me not until the semester ends since I got a letter saying that there’s no admissions at this time. Once I do then he will contact me immediately!
  17. Do y’all know how long it takes for admissions to process and be accepted to the college itself? I need to talk to an advisor ASAP.
  18. @NurseDesiree718 Thank you! That means a lot. I’ll be sure to stay in touch.
  19. Oh I see. Okay that’s unfortunate then. Kinda bummed but it’s only 1 year difference. I’ll update you guys once I can get a call from them tomorrow. Let’s see what happens until April. Thank you for the help and guidance.
  20. Oof, that’s not what I wanted to hear? but I have finished everything that I needed to be done except computer applications 1. From I heard from the director of nursing and the transfer of admissions said that I’ll be graduating in May 2024 and that I’ll be taking world religion, intro to human inheritance and fundamental statistics for my 2nd year 2nd semester as a transfer student if I get in by fall but I could be wrong or misunderstood something. I will call them and ask for more clarification on that. I will see if I can take NU 201 in the fall as well if possible. Thank you for all this info. I appreciate it.
  21. Hey Desiree, I will get to know if I’m in by late April! Does that mean I have a possible chance that I’ll get in by fall?
  22. Very nice! Good luck with everything and thank you ❤️
  23. That’s amazing! And yes as of right now they did say those 3 classes are only what I’ll be doing if I do get accepted. I’ll see if I can take NU 201 course as well but most likely next year Spring from what I heard. As soon as I hear more info I’ll be sure to come to you ?
  24. Thank you so much for the info! I will def keep you updated if anything else happens! I believe they did evaluate my credits but I have yet to still get accepted to the school itself. So I can’t see or talk to any advisor yet sadly. Admissions say that I would be considered into my second year, second semester which I will begin world religion, intro to human inheritance and intro to statistics. So not sure of what might happen next. I applied a week before the deadline. I’m currently waiting for more mails to come. I’m crossing my fingers and praying that I will be accepted in time. This really gives me hope that I can get a chance to get in since students are late with registration and my GPA is fine. ?
  25. Hello, I really liked your story. Congratulations on being accepted. This response is a little late, but I had a similar situation with CUNY and was unable to gain admission despite receiving all A's. I took the TEAS and performed poorly. I didn't want to take it again since I didn't want to have to wait any longer. I'm a terrible test taker, so I take a lot of practice exams to help me learn more effectively. I'm currently transferring to SJC in Brooklyn in order to simplify my life. I'm hoping to be accepted for the fall semester of 2022. Despite the fact that I applied late, I was placed on the waiting list as well. There's no assurance that I'll get in, but it's possible that a surprise will occur. I have a lot of faith in myself. I never give up and would go to any length to achieve my goals. To assist me advance a little farther, I completed all of my general education and nursing prerequisites at a community college. So now that I've done that, getting in should be a breeze (lets hope). I'm down to two years now! Clinical trials will begin in the Spring of 2023, ideally. If we ever meet in person, I hope we can become friends. Wow, we have a lot in common. I was also informed that I'd graduate in 2024. My lower division classes have a 3.69 grade point average. Do you think that'll be enough to get me in? For the past few years, I've been attending various schools.
