Hi, I am still a little bit anxious for nursing school that starts in a few weeks… I just wanted to know how you guys maintained your personal life with nursing school? I wanna have equal amount of time to study and to be able clear my head, so I don’t become mentally exhausted. Do you think a hour a day of studying is good enough or should I make more time for studying? What was your study plan?

Hey, I recently got accepted into nursing school yay!! I’m a bit overwhelmed with Joy & anxiety because I know nursing is no joke. However I will be registering for classes soon, and wanted to know if it would be smart to take both fundamental 1 & 2 together? Or that’s extremely too much? I am not the “smartest” person that can pick up the information right away LOL… But I am capable of understanding the work. Please let me know what you guys would do! Thank you?

Hey!! Wow a 83.3% is still extremely good especially coming from the TEAS exam. The TEAS exam is already difficult so for you to get that score you definitely have a high chance of getting in?. I really do hope my score can get me in LOL. Are you currently a student here? Did you do the nursing application yet?

Definitely call the school and ask them because I was told that I had to be a student here to apply to their program. I really transferred here because of that. I would be very really devastated if I didn't get accepted because I could’ve just waited at my old school nursing program to open. October 15 is really far so that probably mean we’re not going to find out until early November?. I was looking at Montefiore but they told me most of credits wouldn’t transfer over because its a 3 credit course☹️ I don't want to repeat any classes I took already & at my recent school that I was at I missed the fall deadlines and the next nursing program doesnt open until August 2022 which is way to far for me. Rockland was my only option☹️. Do you have any recommendations? Also definitely call to see!!

Hi everyone I’m just curious to know if anyone is applying for suny Rockland Spring nursing program and there TEAS scores? This school only accepts people from their TEAS scores. I personally think the TEAS exam is hard and I no longer want to retake it no more ?. I received a 78% I hope that’s enough to get me into the program! Goodluck to everyone.

I wanted to know everyone thoughts on the TEAS exam. I personally feel like the TEAS shouldn’t determine if someone who has a great GPA with numerous prerequisites high scores into the nursing program. I seen alot of students who can’t get into the nursing program because they didn’t score a 75% on the exam but GPA be 3.8 and up. It also took me 3 times of taking the TEAS just to score an “advance” I just personally think the TEAS shouldn’t dictate if your capable of being in the nursing program, because once your accepted into the program it will NO longer matter ?. Thats just my opinion...

Hi, I recently found out about suny rockland nursing program and wanted to join for the Spring 2022 semester. However my only flaw is that they only look a the TEAS exam scores and tbh the TEAS exam was quite difficult for me. I score a 74% but im not quite sure if that is good enough to get me in. Any advice on what to do? Do you think a 74% can get me in? Also has anyone attended suny Rockland nursing program with the same situation im in? Thank you!
