@BeKind2 Thank you! Yes they do ask you for the 3rd booster shot and you’ll have to send an updated copy of the Covid card. We didn’t start clinicals until October.

I’m in the 3rd trimester. They didn’t ask for the card until a few weeks before clinicals started. Make sure all of your vaccines are up to date as well. The school is disorganized so they could very well ask you for a copy of the card sooner.

Hey @BeKind2 So the Covid vaccines are mandatory in order for you to be able to attend the clinical sites. You will have to email the school a copy of your vaccination card when they ask for it. When you get to the clinical site one of the teachers will take your temperature.

Yes study group please!! I believe they said school will be virtual next week as well. Thank goodness!! Everyday after school I take a nap because I’m so mentally exhausted. Take your time and read the questions for the HDI assignment. The textbooks don’t really help. It’s a lot of critical thinking questions.

You think so? I feel like they would be just as vague in person. Yea that critical thinking is going to drive me crazy. I don’t mind the virtual because I don’t have to wake up so early. I don’t live close to the school. When does tutoring start? I need it LOL.

@Raro260 I feel the same way. Lost and overwhelmed. It’s more so trying to figure out what to study and HOW to study effectively so I can retain the information. I also feel behind and we haven’t even started our second week. I’m worried about that quiz for SF. Like why so soon? ? I guess we will find out how the quizzes are soon. What section are you in btw?

@Raro260 You’re welcome. I see we have an assignment for fundamentals but it won’t be available for us to do it until Tuesday and it’s timed (90 mins). Why is a homework assignment timed?! ??

@Raro260 I literally just finished it and we haven’t gone over any of this. But I did use the Womble: Introductory of Mental Health Nursing book chapter 3. It helped with questions about Erickson. She told us it was going to be everything on module 1 but I assumed she meant only what we went over. Makes me worried about her quizzes. A lot of it is critical thinking.

What exactly are we suppose to study for Lab? She said it’s on module but there are so many things there. Is it SAFETY MODULE under the orientation tab? @BMP1117 wow I definitely wasn’t expecting 50 questions LOL. I’ll be doing the tutoring for every subject and I’m going to make Flashcards today

@BMP1117 What are the quizzes like for Scientific foundations? Are there a lot of questions? Does she put a lot of definitions? Are there fill in the black questions? I wasn’t expecting her to give a quiz so soon. I’m worried about the vocational quizzes. Math is not my strong point. ?☹️ I need a study buddy but I don’t know my classmates well enough. I’m happy we have three days off so I can catch up on studying.

@Tonitoni91 Yea I was having issues with the zoom link for my second class. I used my own computer and I had to click the link 5 times before it worked. Oh no that sucks that you missed your first class. Hopefully they give you a pass since it was the first day. I’m going to spend the weekend making flashcards.
