  1. @hotnursestuff I'm sorry but what do you mean if it's accredited? It's not an actual nursing school, is that what you are referring to?
  2. Yay! Congratulations and welcome to Kaiser!
  3. Yah the ones about ethnicity or something like that? I got a phone call like 5 days later.

  5. Hi, I received an offer today.
  6. Hello, I'm just looking for more information from anyone who knows someone who did the Kaiser program? Did you learn a lot? I live in San Diego and just got a phone call offering me a position at Zion. I am so shocked and humbled and thankful that they saw potential in me because I was feeling very discouraged since I interviewed two weeks ago and hadn't been contacted. If anyone knows anything about the Kaiser new grad program in San Diego, or any place in SoCal, please share your input! I would love to read about your experience. Thank you!
  7. Hello, I didn't hear anything from them for a loooooong time, not until two days ago. I never contacted them first and just waited it out until they sent an email that just said an update to my page was made. I logged in and saw I was accepted and put down the deposit for $350. This was my first choice for attending an ABSN program. Let me know if you are going! We have 14 days to submit the deposit so I think the turn over to move on in contacting other students happens relatively quickly.
  8. Thank you! I just did, I didn't know much about the ATI but thanks to you now I understand much better!
  9. I'm sorry if my question is stupid but what do you mean by getting a 3? Thank you for the explanation!
  10. @adjappletonHow long is your program? MSOE is 18 months, so I’m assuming that would give me more time to learn things? 12 month programs would be better just to get it done and over with, but would that put me in a position of being completely overwhelmed by the pace? It seems like other comments indicate MSOE is “hard” but would give me more time to manage the material, whereas a shorter 12 month program may be “less hard“ than MSOE, but its’ pace would be overwhelming. Do you have any feedback from other students about how they feel about their program or of MSOE? I’ve never been to Wisconsin and have been self-educating myself on what factors indicate a program is strong. Anything else you can share would be appreciated!
  11. @guidoth1 Just messaging you in case you happen to still come on the site! I'm in a similar position with you with MSOE and their accelerated BSN program. You went and then switched, could you please tell me what you didn't like about MSOE? I have multiple options but I'm very conflicted with making a choice. Any input would be appreciated! Thank you !
  12. @EBP_RN Thank you so much for taking the time to give your honest feedback on the program. I've been accepted for Jan 2022 and needed to get some more info from a student perspective, so I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. The tuition is expensive, for me $56,000 for 12 months. I'd be moving from southern CA which will be expensive in and of itself. A cohort starting with 140 students seems high to me, am I wrong? I'm not sure what is considered a "normal" cohort size. The program seems like it would work for a student who is highly motivated and independent, little things like schedule mix ups don't matter, but the idea of having to stay and do paperwork while other students get to leave early and study for an exam is painful! Any additional insight you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  13. Following up with attending the ABSN program at South Dakota's Aberdeen campus, can anyone give more insight to this program? There's really not much out there from students post-program which makes me worry a bit. Any input would be great! Thank you!
