I can honestly say Southern California Culver City was the most disorganized new grad job fair I have been to. The departments there didn't even want to take the resumes of the candidates and some heads of the departments showed up late. I interviewed with the Head of Education and she wasn't even sure I should be talking to her. They just gave me to her because they were overwhelmed. If you are hired for a new grad position here good luck. I hear they are going bankrupt and have a hard time paying the bills. I would suggest holding out for a place with more and better resources.

For those who applied to ER do you have your PALS? I was hoping that cert would just be required by start date

I feel like all the units have different dates but in general we should know no later than mid December so it's best to not worry and enjoy the next couple weeks and try not to stress.

Hi, I'm internal so I just looked them up OK my email but UCLA has a pretty extensive directory. If you type in the name they usually will pop up with their email and dept.

I interviewed for the ER and felt like I couldn't read their vibe. I feel kind of up in the air about it. But just send a thank you email and keep pushing. Cedars opened and other places will open soon. It's not over until they say it is you just may have done better than you thought

OK I just got my letter of acceptance and let me tell you there is hope!!! My stats are crazy Undergrad UCLA GPA: 2.5 Non Science GPA 3.11 Science GPA : 4.0 Keep going!! I have no volunteer experience but I was pre med undergrad and I have been working in clinical research for 6 years. 3 years as a Research assistant and 3 years as a lead clinical coordinator for multiple different subfields.

Did they send an email or you check the portal?

Yea I have yet to receive anything from Monrovia

Hi, I submitted an app but I havent completed the last 3 core classes yet so I don't think I'll get in LOL. It was worth the shot. I'll try to complete them over Summer before the semester starts

I feel like we had the same person although I applied to Monrovia campus. I felt a little rushed and she stressed how having kids and doing this would be hard...although I kind of forsee that since I'm applying to programs...IDK all I can do is send a Thank You and hope for the best. Does anyone know their acceptance rate for this program?

Has anyone not completed all the pre-reqs? I'm still pending the research class and I am wondering if that will affect admission decisions. Although you can apply with a missing class, the video stressed you can not be accepted without all pre-reqs complete.

I just got an interview for the ELM program at Monrovia. I'm a bit nervous because my interview request said Spring 2022 but I definitely applied for Spring 2023
