  1. I did not prepare at all for mine I just took it as I was conversing with a coworker. Take full advantage of the practice time before you actually answer. Think over things you have done in your practice that stand out to you like special situations you have overcome or even failed that has now improved you. I don't remember the questions (I was day one out of the hospital so there's no memory there LOL) but I remember not having too much trouble answering because at my job we have to talk about things we've accomplished, overcome, changed, learned, etc. on a yearly basis.
  2. Yesssss! I'm so happpyyyy to know someone along with me and meet people to hopefully help in the future ?
  3. I just got my letter and I was ome of the first pending acceptance people so I hopeeee one of you hear something soon!
  4. ? that sucks! If you really want UA, I say don't give up. You should receive an email at some point for free application at some point. I didn't get in my first round. If you try again and get in reach out and I'd be glad to guide in any way I can ?
  5. I hope it works out! I hear UNA is good too. My aunt goes there and loves it. I only didn’t go bc there wasn't a part time option and I don't want to drive north twice. I've received my acceptance pending drug and background but on my ua account it still says pending review. Is this your first time applying to them? I didn't interview bc I did last year so they already have it
  6. I don't even know what a CWID is LOL (I think I recall seeing these letters somewhere though). On my UA account, where I applied, it hasn't been updated at all. I still just have my acceptance upon completion email and then I now have a Bama account for when I register for classes and I've completed all my documents that are due by May 1 and I'm waiting on my email to setup my bama email and register for classes. I'm thinking since paperwork is due by May 1st, you should be getting something soon. And awesome Khristy! Early congrats LOL I felt the same way until I paid for the document uploading program and then uploaded and emailed making positive the only thing that didn't have to be completed yet was the HIPPA
  7. OK I made a fb page just in case while I was getting a tag haha. It's UAFNP Fall 2022
  8. I may go ahead and make a facebook account. I don't have facebook but I use my mom's for things LOL
  9. I'm leaning on sounds good :)) eeeeeh! I shared with the other lady the flash cards I just recently bought that seem nice so far so refer above is interested
  10. Awesome! And same I've searched everywhereeee so thought I guess I will just start one LOL. I have found articles that help in prep for FNP overall and bought these two sets of flash cards. Ignore the center items LOL im rushing so didn't crop it up enough LOL (son's bday prep)
  11. Awesome!! I do remember that when I was not chosen I also received an email so as long as you don't have an email they're still working on things ?
  12. Well keep me posted :))! And thanks it was definitely horrible and took monthssss to get back to close to normal! Ahhh yes I was just telling my husband that I'm anxious to have my bama email setup and everything. If you need anything let me know!! Oh and yes FNP, oh but I chose part time track because I'm terrified to stay on full time (which is the only option at my job) andddd do school full time with two kids LOL
  13. Hey! Yes, I applied for Fall 2022. I received an email reporting acceptance upon completion of my drug screen and background check. Now that those have been completed, I'm still waiting on the official letter. I did my interview last year but ended up hospitalized from covid, and I was clearly still not better by my interview, so I think that's why I received my email so soon after applying for this upcoming Fall. I've heard that if you're getting an interview you're pretty close to a guaranteed acceptance unless there are red flags (like me being barely able to talk LOL). So if you are realllyyyy wanting the UA and for some reason it doesn't work out reapply for the next coming semester!
  14. I've been looking online for guidance with University of AL FNP program. I just received pending admission following my background check and drug screen and was wondering if anyone has any preparation guidance for Fall. I work full time with children so I'm most likely going to go part time but I would reallyyyy like to go full time! Any advice since working part time is not an option? Has anyone else started/completed this program and have any guidance. My biggest fear is paper writing because I loathe writing papers.
  15. Thank you so much!
