Has any applied and waiting to hear from the school? when should one expect an acceptance/ denial letter?.. And for those who got accepted what was your ADN GPA?.. My GPA is 3.38 and can't help from worrying?

The school is not perfect just like any schools it has it's up and down but I would recommend the school. I've also recommended the school to some of my coworkers and I did like the program even though it was stressful. Good luck.

@RNLife2025 I do not agree with you, I know the school is very strict when it comes to passing exams, and just because you didn't pass doesn't mean that the rest of the students who passed were using a test bank from the so-called administrator, that's a big fat lie, there were so many rumors circulating even in our cohort, and none of it was true, it came from those bitter students who never got their way and was trying to beg the school to get extra points so that they can pass, this is just like any other school, once you fail a class you either repeat or kicked out, I haven't seen any school what gives extra point to students just to pass then so that they can gain a good name. I failed the exit exam, and that meant I was not going to graduate on the expected date, I went back home and worked on my weaknesses and even attended the Saturday Zoom classes that were hosted by some professors. I also had some classmates who failed capstone with .01 and had to retake capstone, some of them even started a petition and got lawyers involved instead of focusing and trying to retake the class, I don't think that if ICHS was a community college students would have dragged lawyers at all. So my 2 cents are, whoever is thinking of joining the school, go for it and don't listen to some negativity in this group or those students who failed and couldn't get what they wanted. I am not saying that the school is perfect; no, it has it's ups and downs just like any other school, but if your goal is to graduate and get that diploma, you will accomplish it. I will say this again: no administrator gives any student a so-called test bank, for the students, I can't defend anyone because I don't know what everyone uses to study for exams, but for me I studied hard and did lots of practice questions to pass and also dedicated a lot of time to my study and only worked 2 days a week just to study. Anyway, keep your head up, future RN, if I did it, so can you. Good luck.

Yes, it's 100% accredited, and I graduated there.

Am an ICHS graduate of March 2023, I also failed HESI exit with 770 in Jan 2023 and had to retake in March and passed with 1000 score, don't give up you can do it. Goodluck.

Hi Calinursingit, I retook the second time and passed, my school allowed 2 times try.

The reason they denied your applications it's not because the school is not accredited because you don't really have to graduate from accredited school to get a license here in WA, it's because the school is "neither Commission approved or not equivalent to Commission approved nursing education in Washington".

So are they still revoking licenses even if you have a BSN or?

I think you have to make sure your state accepts PNEQ, because it's acceptable in Florida but not approved in some states What do you need to get to pass the exit exam? Maybe you should try to retake the exit?

Which school did you attend if you don't mind?

I see that you are a CNA, don't wait until its too late like me to apply for NCLEX PN, the school won't give information about it, but if you go to the board of nursing of Florida you can find information and the requirements, for taking LVN nuclei as RN student, esp now that you're doing your clinical.

That's the reality of the situation, they admit so many students, and only a few will graduate or finish, we started 300 students in my cohort and only around 100 students were able to move forward.

Capstone is not a requirement for any state in order to sit for NCLEX, and still you can't sit for your exit exam if you fail capstone. I meant out of 163 student who took exit exam this January only 63 passed.

And they won't change a thing unless the student complains, and not just one student, they can offer a retake like have done with our cohort but a mass of students need to send an email to them requesting a retake. I remember when I started so many students failed fundamentals finals and profs had to quite. We are having the same problem in the last semester, out of 162 students only 63 passed the HESI exit exam, the rest have to retake and if one fails then they get a dismissal or retake capstone.

All the finals are HESI and the prof will never teach you how to prepare for HESI its up to the student.

Which exam 2 are you talking about? I failed my HESI exit, am done with all my classes so I was asking the lady who said she passed her exit for the second time if she studied all HESI Hints, I have Saunders and have been using it since I started the program. Quilt is not helpful as students have reported that similar questions are seen in the exams so they have changed everything. Ours final grade were 35% when I started, 45% is way too much and not fair at all.

Did you read the whole HESI Comprehensive book or just HESI hints? I took my exit and failed by doing yourbestgrade, so now I planing to use the HESI Comprehensive book and Saunders.
