  1. I got my evaluation sheet today and I got 38 points! However, I’ve already accepted an offer for CSULA’s ABSN which was my top choice. Good luck to everyone here and hope you guys get acceptance emails soon! ?
  2. I checked the Google sheets of people who have responded to the offers, and it looks like there are 27 people who have accepted their offers. I think they take like 32 people, so there’s probably gonna be 5 more spots unless more people respond today. I haven’t responded so they’re giving me until tonight to accept the offer, but I’ll be declining.
  3. Hi Sara, Sorry to hear about the sad news, but I admire the way you can bounce back and shift your focus on working on your apps. I wish you the best of luck and know you’ll be a great nurse someday :)) Stats: Last 60 units GPA: 3.69 Science GPA: 4.00 TEAS: 97.3% Healthcare/Volunteer Experience: - 160+ hours of hospital volunteer - CNA at a hospital since Dec
  4. I got an acceptance email, but will be turning it down. Best of luck to anyone on the waitlist! ?
  5. I got an acceptance letter last night as well! Can’t wait to meet everyone ???
  6. I asked during my interview and the program coordinator said that they have to release decisions by Friday
  7. Hey, I got mine just now! Any luck with yours? ?
  8. Thanks so much for everyone’s input on my previous posts! For anyone who got the interview email, how long did it take to get the interview schedule confirmation? I replied to mine two days ago and still haven’t received one. Getting kinda nervous since my interview is supposed to be 3 or 4 days from today ?
  9. Did your email say that the interview would be done through zoom or in person? I saw a post here saying that some ABSN students got a tour, but my interview this week said it’s gonna be through a zoom meeting.
  10. I saw this and sent in my “missing” transcript even though we had sent them beforehand. I got an email from admissions confirming they received my transcript and it was removed from my to-do list. I did this before I saw people in this thread saying not to send them in again though, so I would contact admissions just to make sure/save money ?
  11. I just got an interview email at 12PM today for the 17, 18, or 19th! Thought sharing my stats would be helpful: Pre-requisite GPA: 3.71 Last 60 units: 3.69 TEAS: 97.3 % CNA at a hospital since December 160 Hospital volunteer hours at the time of app submission (same place I work LOL) I also completed the recommended classes (Human Development, Cultural Anthropology, and Human Nutrition
  12. @pluto I feel the exact same way. Does anyone know if not getting an interview means that there’s 0 chance of getting into the program??
  13. @Kayla Phan I emailed my advisor about a week ago and she told me that the evaluation sheet is still being processed. She said that it takes about 6-8 weeks after they’ve received all the necessary documents to send out the eval sheet, but a friend who applied last year said it took even longer for her ?
  14. @g t I’m also just waiting, haven’t gotten an interview date or anything else yet. Feeling pretty antsy about it Has anyone else heard back/gotten an interview or an update?
  15. @kayh08 based on the Fall 2021 forum, I think decisions come out in late May. The eval sheets look like they’re gonna get sent out at the 12 week mark from when applications are marked “completed” too. Also it seems that the email containing the eval sheet sometimes gets sent to junk/spam
  16. @zxcvb you got this! I didn’t start studying for the TEAS until a month before I was scheduled to take it. I ended up using both the ATI and Mometrix study books supplemented with mometrix videos and got a pretty good score.
  17. Hey everyone! I haven't seen a thread for the Fall 2022 ABSN applicants yet, so I made one. I submitted my application on January 1st and got my confirmation email on January 4th. So far the only news I've gotten is that my transcripts have been received/my application has been completed. Would love to hear from other applicants and best of luck to all of us ?
  18. @g t I'm in the same boat as you! I sent my application the same day as you and got my confirmation email on Feb 1st as well. Got the email inviting me to calstate apply at 2PM today, but nothing about an interview. Hopefully we get some more news soon ?
  19. I did two applications, so I ended up submitting both my unofficial transcripts through the email they provided and my official transcripts through NursingCAS. I sent my unofficial transcripts on the 14th, but I turned in my Calstate apply earlier. I think I wasted my money though since they only looked at my unofficial transcripts /:
  20. Do you mean the email with our student ID/MySFSU login? I got mine on the 8th and just got this new email last night. I checked my admission status right now and it says that they received my unofficial transcripts and that my app was under review by my “selected academic program.” Hope that helps and that you get the email soon ??
  21. Hi, I’m new to this thread! Has anyone else gotten this email? I ended up submitting two applications since the instructions were so unclear/previous years required the NursingCAS app. Edit: Also thank you for making this thread!
  22. So I’m in California, but I’ve seen how competitive ABSN programs are here so I’m considering going out of state. However, there are so many programs and I have no clue where I even have a chance of getting into. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my last year of college in UCSD, so I ended up graduating with a 3.02 overall GPA. Luckily I managed to get A’s and a few B’s after my diagnosis and so my last 60 semester/90 quarter unit GPA is a 3.43. I had to retake anatomy and Chemistry since I got C’s, but I’m getting really high A’s in them right now and feeling pretty confident. But since I have to average my C’s with my A’s, the highest prerequisite GPA I can receive would be a 3.7. I’m also starting a CNA program in a few weeks, but I’ve been having trouble finding volunteer hospital programs, so I only have the 100 hours from high school. overall GPA: 3.02 Last 60 sem units: 3.43 prerequisite GPA: 3.7 volunteer hours: none (100 from high school) certifications: CNA Has anyone gotten into an ABSN program with similar stats? If so, I’d love to hear where and what your stats were! Any advice is very much appreciated also
