Mercy Hospital Miami LPN Program
Oh OK. That makes sense. I have a bachelor’s degree in a non nursing field. I was hoping to be exempt when I applied LOL.

Does anyone attend Herzing University? (specifically the Orlando campus) If so, do you like the school? What are the professors like? Would you recommend this school? Thanks!

Radiologist tech vs Nursing
Hello everyone! I'm an elementary teacher looking for a career change. Could anyone inform me about what it is like being a radiologist tech vs a nurse? What are work hours like, patient care, pay, etc Thank you!

University of St. Francis
Has anyone attended University of St. Francis in Indiana? This school is really known for their nursing program and has great reviews overall. However, its extremely expensive. Thank you

Galen College of nursing
Has anyone attended any of the Galen college locations in Florida? I'm considering going there for the ADN program. I like that the prerequisites are included in the program and that there is no waitlist. Please share your experiences and if you like the school or not. ?

School put on probation ? HELP
Hello everyone! I was planning to attend an approved school in Florida next August and it was just put on PROBATION! ? I'm in the process of finishing a couple prerequisites I have left for it. I'm grateful this happened before I ended up going there, however this is seriously throwing off my plans for next year. I was really set on going to this school and know it obviously can not happen now. It would just be too risky. Sorry about my rant , but ANYWAYS... Could anyone recommend me a school in Florida for the ADN RN 2 year program? Preferably something on the cheaper end and not highly competitive. (but feel free list schools that cost a bit more too - I need to keep my options open!) *I'm not really interested in the accelerated BSN programs at this time either. Nursing school is already challenging enough and trying to earn a BSN in a year or less would be overwhelming. Any insights and recommendations are appreciated! Thank you all! ❤️

Teacher to Nurse - Advice
Hello everyone! I am a special needs teacher looking to transition into nursing. Can anyone list any school recommendations for ADN programs? (in Florida or in other states too) I'm not interested in doing any of the accelerated BSN programs at this time. - I just feel that nursing school is already challenging enough and trying to earn a BSN in 12 - 16 months would be overwhelming. I've also seen people recommend MEPN programs. How do you feel about someone with a non-nursing bachelors degree applying for one of these programs? Is it actually better to become a registered nurse first before even considering doing an MEPN program? Any advice or insight is appreciated! Thank you ?

Non Accredited (but approved) Nursing Schools
Does anyone have recommendations for good public or private schools for an associate of nursing in the southern Florida area? Also has anyone had any experience with Southern Florida college of nursing school? This specific school has no wait list , however it is not accredited. Also what are your thoughts on going to nursing schools that are not accredited, but approved? I already have a bachelors degree in teaching. I may want to go to grad school for nursing, but am fearful of credits not transferring if I graduate from a non-accredited school. Any thoughts/insight are appreciated! Thank you
