  1. Can you please give the name of your school? I’m looking to complete LPN then bridge
  2. That’s what I’m hoping but I just wish there was a way to know sooner. The lowest score was a 456.6 and I applied with a 447.6 so I was 9 points away. I seen a post from last year where applicants got callbacks in December to start the upcoming term in January so that made me hopeful.
  3. I unfortunately didn’t get accepted into the RN program at Southern Crescent so I’m exploring other options. Considering applying to the LPN program but ultimately being an RN is my goal. I’ve tried to research LPN-RN bridge programs in my area but I haven’t had luck finding a lot of info. I don’t want to feel like I’m spending all this time and tuition to be an LPN just to turn around and do it all over again for RN. If anyone has any insight on this topic please lend me options and ideas. Also I’m praying and staying hopeful that if seats became available I’ll get a call back but I’m not sure how likely that is. For anyone that got accepted this cohort, by what date do you have to accept your seat?
  4. Do you know which campus Ga Perimeter offer the nursing program?
  5. Thanks for the encouragement! I’m trying to stay hopeful. I think the lowest score was 456.6 and mine was 447.6 ? literally nine points away. Didn’t really want to take the LPN route and I’ve missed all the deadlines for any other Spring start dates.
  6. M my GPA was 3.769 my TEAS was a 70.7 so I could study more and retake that next year. I’m really bummed cause I thought I had a good chance.
  7. Unfortunately I didn’t get in but congratulations to you! Goodluck in the program!
  8. Wow! First that’s awesome stats. And whatttt?? You didn’t get accepted? Hopefully you’ll hear back for the Spring term soon. And the school was Ga State Perimeter College?
  9. Congratulations to you both. I’m waiting on mine from another school. They said we’ll know by Oct. 1st. I can only imagine how happy you are ?
  10. I got that same email last week. And yes that’s a huge number compared to the seats available. One of our peers here commented that after speaking with the advisor she let her know that a lot of ppl that applied didn’t meet the requirements but they wanted to try their luck and apply anyway. Goodluck!
  11. Yes! Sounds like you asked all the right questions. I’m done what surprised tho because from previous students I thought it was Mon-Thurs. I knew the vaccination topic was going to come up because all hospitals has mandated it for their employees. I’m the same way with trying the pick the brains of current students to get some type of expectation.
  12. I’m hoping for the Henry campus also. I don’t want to sound rude or mean but hearing that a lot of ppl applying didn’t meet the minimum requirements is good to hear for me. All together my score is 447.6, last year the lowest score they accepted was 443.6 so I’m staying positive although I know that it’s going to depend on the scores from this pool of applicants. What other questions did the answer for you if you don’t mind sharing.
  13. Hey! Goodluck on the journey I’m right here with you! I’m very excited yet nervous and praying that I hear good news back. At the moment I haven’t applied to any other programs but Gordon State is an option along with MGTC. I heard that we’ll know something by the 3rd or 4th week of September, hopefully sooner tho ??
  14. Thank You! And the best regards to you as well
  15. I definitely understand especially since you’re so close to graduating. Do you plan to bridge over to RN? If you’re accepted at SCTC since you’re not accepting the seat do they contact the next available applicant?
  16. Yes with Gordon you can take the Kaplan after you get accepted into the program. I really want to be at SCTC but if I have to I’ll apply to other schools and even LPN programs. Goodluck to us! ?? Hopefully we’ll be in orientation together ?
  17. I compare my stats a lot too, I think it’s normal to do so but yours look really good, I know a lot of these programs are very competitive but I believe in us! We got this!
  18. Hey, just curious as to why you both don’t think you’ll get accepted? Look at this way, you got the email saying that you meet the minimum requirements so that makes you one step closer! As long as it didn’t state that you don’t meet them then we’re gonna stay positive! ??? if you don’t mind can you share your stats.?
  19. OK, well goodluck either way! I really want to do the RN program but if I have to I’ll apply to LPN in October
  20. I applied a few days ago, my TEAS-70.7 GPA-3.769 I’m praying for us all! I know how hard this journey has been for me so I can only imagine what everyone else has endured. I’m still nervous tho. Are you in the LPN program at Southern Crescent?
  21. Hey I’m just checking back with everyone…has anyone already applied? What are your stats? Have you applied to other schools? Etc. just wanted to keep in touch and keep the thread going.
  22. Yes I’m finished with everything. I’m worried about my TEAS score so I may retake that but I have plenty of time to do so. I read a thread on here from last year and seen how many ppl had good numbers but did get accepted ? it worries me but I’m staying optimistic. Are you planning to apply to any other schools or programs?
  23. Hey, hoping to see you in orientation! (I’m speaking it into existence) I used the yellow mometrix book, honestly I didn’t study how I should have but I made a 70.7 and we need at least a 66. But the test isn’t as hard as ppl make it I know with proper studying I’ll make in the 90’s.
