What unit? What unit did you interview for?

Did anyone ever find out if there was an official date for the hiring fair that's supposed to happen this month at Harbor?

Has anyone heard about a date for a hiring fair this month?

Hi! I actually have not spoken with HR or the nurse recruitment team. I received a call with the unit manager from the unit I interviewed with back in July. I submitted my application back in May so not sure what they are doing with recent applicants, sorry. The only thing he told me was that right now they hired in November, but he will let me know when they start hiring new grads again because they wanted to hire me based off my interview I had in July, but then the hiring freeze occurred so he will be in touch as to when the next cohort is.

Hi everyone! I just received a call from the department manager from the floor that I interviewed with back in July. Did anyone else receive a call? He let me know that they are slowly hiring again.

OK, same. I was like well if they are telling me all about the orientation process maybe I got the job, but IDK ??‍♀️

This week. She said sometimes it takes them a while depending on how busy they are. Also did they mention anything to you about how long the orientation process is?

When I interviewed, she told me that they would send paperwork to HR and that they would be the ones to reach out. I asked how long it would take to hear back, she said sometime this week. But this is for PEDS

For those that interviewed last week, has anyone received an offer today?

They told me they have only 2 positions available, one is a full time with benefits and another as a relief nurse.

PEDS. Tell me about yourself? Why did you want to become a nurse? Why Harbor-UCLA? Why should we hire you? They asked other stuff as well but it was more like a conversation interview, so not stressful. I did my clinical rotations there so they asked about my experience and questions regarding that. Yes, I only choose PEDS. I didn't even put a second or third unit.

Yes, I actually applied back in April. But they emailed me last week regarding scheduling an interview.

The same day they emailed me. Then they emailed me the scheduled interview on July 3rd so 3 days later

Hi! I got that same email even though I applied in April as well. I sent an email back with the formed filled out and all the documents but haven't received a response back.

I also emailed them with all that info 1 month ago with the sheet they make you fill out for when you are available to interview and have yet to hear back so I'll be sending a follow up email. I think for me it took 2 weeks to hear back with them emailing you interview dates so maybe hold off a bit. I know they are really slow in responding.

Yay, that's good. Hopefully you get a job offer. My email also had time slots, but there were slots available for next week so hopefully I get an interview.

Hi everyone, quick question. How long did it take for you to receive the email with the survey. I submitted my application Friday and haven't heard anything back. All I saw was that if you submit the application after 3:00pm they should send you the survey the next business day.
