I also got an offer to western today but I have already accepted Nipissing SPP. I don’t know if it’s worth it to do 5 months less of school and to move to London. How is everyone weighing their options?

Hey there, there’s no deposit required for Nipissing! I asked a current student and there’s a facebook group for SPP class of 2024.

I know for sure Nipissing has already sent out offers, it seems like a lot of the schools are releasing more offers sooner than they did last year

I wish everyone on here luck with their applications ??? I have decided to accept my offer to Brock as I see this as a wiser financial decision in the long term in exchange for being in school a little longer and being so close to home. Good luck everyone you all got this!

Just got an offer from Brock, not accelerated but I’m crossing my fingers for the accelerated programs at other schools. Brock wouldn’t be a bad choice though considering that I have transfer credits I can apply. Has anyone gotten any accelerated offers yet?

I don’t think so, plagiarism usually means you use someone else’s work or words and try to pass them off as your own.

Just received an offer from Humber for the second entry prep semester. Does anyone know how this works at Humber with their second entry program? Do you need to successfully complete the prep semester to then be accepted in the accelerated program?

For me personally I used my undergrad and work experience to explain the leadership and community section

Hi guys just an FYI to constantly check your emails. I just received an email this morning from someone in admissions saying my physiology credits were not approved by the UofT nursing program and said they were not listed on the pre-approved equivalency list when they are listed on that current list. I have been trying to get in touch with someone all day with no luck but as of right now they told me my application would not be considered further. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m thinking this has to be an error because I sent them a screenshot of the pre-approved list that is up to date and I am still waiting for a reply?

Does anyone know how much Western takes into account from your CASPER score?

I finished last night too, how did you find it? I’m so glad we get the quartile scores at least that’s something vs previous years where you know nothing

I’m also writing CASPER this Thursday! How are you planning on studying? I’ve been trying to read online tips as well as practicing the mock test they have online!

no unfortunately not I had planned on taking a year off before applying anywhere and exploring my options a bit more, but I’m thankful I applied to Mac and saw this forum because it showed me the wide variety of other programs available for second entry nursing. Sometimes it’s hard to find info on programs just through Google alone

I had around a 3.7 and felt like I did really good on CASPR, but it’s OK ty! I’ll be applying for the Nippising SPP program and Western’s program this Fall

I emailed the student services worker yesterday and she emailed today saying that she reached out to the admissions committee and is waiting for their reply to her email, but would let me know as soon as they responded back!
