GLVN.

I was told by my counselor at CCC that there is no TEAS test for the LVN-RN. I asked the nursing department and they confirm this is correct, no TEAS. Drug dosage calculation and pharmacology are also a requirement for both ADN and LVN-RN program. ( this is the only program that requires those two) .......

I'm glad you got into the ADN program, at least, I had a bad experience at Unitek, it's all about money.

wow!! that's a long wait. Well just think of the knowledge and experience you will gain by doing the two years (fill in the gaps). As an LVN myself, I always feel like I could of learn more while in school.

danny8302 you never heard from the LVN -RN department? are you doing the ADN program?

This is what I think. they wanted to do a large cohort... since they didn't get approval then there is no way they can put us in the program because there is no regular 2nd year program. CCC is back and they have clinical site,

I'm in the LVN-RN program. No lottery. had a few friends who got rejected. not even in the alternative list

I Had an interview at CCC. But Not an official acceptance Yet. if you read the LVN-RN brochure you can see Ia a one time exemption, of no official LVN license.

Have you been contacted by CCC? ...... Same here, I applied at LMC and CCC, but CCC is closer to me. so this is my thought..... they were accepting LVNs with no license yet, but they had to confirm NCLEX test date by a certain time.. that's strange right. I really hope there is no TEAS.

Carrington college in Sacramento, Gurnick in Concord and Unitek in Fremont. I went to gurnick for my LVN, overall I had an awesome experience there. I went to Unitek at Fremont to get information about the program and they wanted my money right away, and was told I was just waisting their time, since I was not there to register. HORRiBLE!! but of course private school are all about the money. No idea on Carrington. I would just give community colleges atry and see how it goes. Are you all set with the prerequisites? I just got done with mines last semester and applied for two community colleges. BTW. I did not asked where in CA! oops. this is norther California I'm talking about

same here. Exactly the same. my counselor told me there's is no TEAS exam at CCC. the best part about it ... right? you haven't had an interview? I was just told someone had an interview and most likely is in the program.

I got an email stating the delay of the lottery. But I don’t think the lottery applies to the LVN-RN program. That’s my understanding. Hows your GPA....? I heard they are taking alot more into consideration the grades for us.

Okay, I see. I only applied to LMC and CCC. Never thought about Samuel Merrit or state colleges since they don’t have the bridge program. Good for you((: Congrats!!

Hi! I applied as well but for the LVN_RN. I have friends who applied for the ADN program and they've received an email so far, stating they are delayed with the evaluation. Also, I was told they did not have the clinical sites confirm. this is the reason they postponed the lottery.
