Hi I am going to start new job at LTC/SNF and I was just reading the orientation package and I came across where it says it is 3 days paid orientation but pay will be held for 30 days and if terminated for any reason during those 30 days, then you won't get that money. I'm in NYC and from what I understand you have to be paid for those days regardless what happens afterwards. My issue is holding the pay for 30 days as I never heard of this and not happy about it as I'm taking this position per diem for weekends only as I work FT during week n using my PTO to attend those 3 days of training. Anyone have feedback or know if able to do this or illegal? Any advice thank you!

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to set up a mobile COVID vaccination unit? Or a mobile vaccination unit that also administers COVID injections and if so, what's needed to start or direct where to start. Thank you.
