hi! I was accepted a couple of weeks ago and I decided to not accept due to financial aspect of this program. my stats were 3.0 undergrad chem, 3.4 masters in engineering, all A's for pre-reqs except B+ in micro and stats, I wrote about my experiences that led me to pursing a nursing degree (changing career), I also volunteered at a hospital, my lor's were from a coworker/supervisor at work and a family friend who was a nurse. good luck! ❤️❤️

how do you know that your program is "good"? im deciding between pace, GWU, rutgers, and Umass-amherst..... are any of these "bad" programs? this thread is scaring me :(!

For NJCU, our apps just need to be verified on nursingcas right? congrats to all of you accepted to other programs! im waiting from my two nj schools but I deposited at an out of state school already. the journey has been crazy! so emotional im excited to be in school already

it seems like they do rounds. once accepted you have 2 weeks to commit with a deposit so if people don't commit then there are still spots in the program in the next round... that's how I think it works

have any of you applied for financial aid? I wonder if they offer anything.... I was accepted yesterday! I am really excited and I have a lot to consider so knowing more about how everyone is making their decisions would be really helpful ? (stats: 3.0 chem undergrad, 3.4 engineering masters, all A's in prereqs except B+ in stats & Microbiology)

I'm really sorry this happened to you! I feel your pain tho. I am a Chemistry undergrad (grad 2013) and for a few schools the gen chem prereq can be 10 years old so I asked if my advanced chem class would fulfill the general requirement and they said no.... I scrambled and looked up at least 100 schools all over the country for an accelerated Winter chem with lab course....... so stressful! I didn't want to delay my apps so I'm grateful to have found the course also, about the here we go.... I can see how the emailer is informal. For the acceptance letter, the email was basically empty with an attachment. No signature, no UMASS symbol, just a "Congratulations!" and the letter was attached LOL so IDK if I would read into the email content. but I would definitely check back in for the details bc it seems like an oversight from them

I interviewed this morning and I got the email that my app is on the waitlist a few hours later. I'm thinking about being considered for the Dixon campus. I just don't understand the difference between the two. Are they both as competitive and the outcome is the same? I want to decide asap so I can hopefully get into dixon since they still have spots.

hi all! I got my acceptance letter this weekend! (stats in case anyone asks: bachelors 3.0, masters 3.4, prereqs all A's except B+ in stats and micro, hospital volunteer, and full time engineer, applied Jan 13). letter says have to accept w 500$ deposit by Mar 5 or spot will go to waitlist. do you guys recommend where one should live to go to this program? I'm from NJ so I will have to move closer for school. I am waiting to hear back from instate schools but I am really considering and leaning towards UMASS. It seems like a great program!
