Congrats. I interviewed for Surg 1 at 9:30 but still nothing. What unit are you doing your 2nd interview with?

Was it Surgical 1 or 2 unit that she got the call from ? Congrats, which unit called you and what time did you interview yesterday?

If you scroll down the email you will find the zoom. The first part of the email says zoom will be sent but it is actually lower on the email chain. Hope that helps.

@nurse478 - I took the Dysrhythima course from AACN but I don't know if it is on the approved by Kaiser. Prior to taking the course, I reached out to Kaiser and they stated you could take a course from anywhere outside of a school course.

Just received my admission but will not accepting the seat. Congrats to all that got in. Wishing you all a fantastic year for the program.

I decided on a program out of state for a masters in nursing. SMU is a great program but I felt that Masters for a good choice for me. It was not an easy decision.

I will most likely be giving up my spot for Oakland campus today...perhaps they are waiting on seats to open to offer the seat for people on the waitlist.

Does anyone know how many hours of clinical hours we do in the SMU ABSN program? I got into the Oakland campus for Summer and can't seem to find any info regarding the # of hours we complete by the end of the program.

Hello all I have received acceptance to the Summer ABSN Oakland Cohort. I wanted to hear from anyone that is currently in the program or has completed the program. What did you think of your education? How many clinical hours did you complete in the year of the program? Where were your clinicals?

Does anyone know if they are planning on starting in-person classes with the Summer cohort? Also, anyone know where to look for their course schedule for the terms?

I am contemplating between an ABSN program that I got accepted into from a private school in northern California versus Rush. The ABSN program is actually a bit more pricey than Rush but as you stated, it is worth the move. I am torn and have been doing quite a bit of soul searching on what I want. As you said, if you are just wanting to be a good nurse perhaps the MSN isn't necessary right now. But at the same time, I am looking at comparable cost but with Rush I have a masters. This is not an easy decision, that is for sure!

Hello all, I received an acceptance email today from Rush as well. So excited but now to make some hard decisions! During the info session prior to the interviews I think they said the classes might be in person starting in September. I recall asking how it was living away from Chicago and I think Meghan said they might be in person by Fall 2021 cohort.

I have until March 18th to respond to the acceptance.

Congrats! I got in as well! Excited to hear the news. I had lost hope when I saw that people received the phase 2 email. I was surprised to find the acceptance letter this morning in my mailbox. Congrats @Kkukku!
