  1. @Serendipity7921 Hi! How was your experience in the new grad program on the medical oncology unit?
  2. @Lizeth92 Hi! I was wondering what was your experience as a new grad on the medical oncology floor?
  3. @danilupsDid you get the job? If so, what was your experience as a new grad in the SICU? Was the team environment supportive and was it new grad friendly?
  4. @squeetleb34 Did you ever make a choice between the two units? If you chose SICU, what was your new grad experience there?
  5. Hi everyone, I know this is a forum from a while ago but I was wondering what were your experiences as a new grad in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic? Did you have a positive learning experience? How was the unit culture? I was offered a position at the CVICU and SICU but am also offered a position at Mayo but it is not ICU. I was wondering what I should do? My long term goal is CRNA, eventually. Thank you in advance!
  6. I know this is very late to the thread, but I’m wondering if anyone could offer me some advice or opinions! Im a new grad and recently got a job offer in an oncology unit at a reputable hospital. Though Im hoping to transfer to the ICU in about 2-3 years after getting experience and solidifying my basic nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills. I was wondering if the skills gained in onco will be applicable to the ICU and if ICUs will hire and train onco nurses to become ICU nurses? This is my dream hospital and I am happy to start on whichever unit with them!
  7. @Skadooshbubbz0825 Congratulations that’s an amazing accomplishment! If you don't mind me asking what work experience and clinical externship did you have? Also have you already taken your NCLEX?
  8. @sunflower97 okay thank you! I was wondering, did you already take your NCLEX? And what is your hospital experience? I just don't know what I’m doing wrong with my app!
  9. Hi all! What does it mean when the application status just says “open”? Is there a difference between open and received?
  10. @martrick congrats! Do you already have your RN license and had hospital experience prior to applying?
  11. @maetrick Which unit? @awkwardavocado No I haven't heard back from the PCUs yet, they said by the end of this month so I’m guessing this week we’ll hear back.
  12. @kmangukia21 Hi! I would say go for it, get the experience. You can still be considered for Sharp’s new grad program as long as you have less than 12 months of nursing experience! Also any experience puts you in a better position for future new grad applications. Good luck!!
  13. I also applied there but never got an email for self identify.... Are you internal or external?
  14. Which hospital did you apply for and get an email for self identify?
  15. Hi! Has anybody heard back from managers for video interviews? Internal/ external applicant? I know interviews are supposed to start in a few days so it’s making me nervous that there’s been no emails sent yet!
  16. @nursefallon have you already graduated?
  17. Aw that’s awesome! I applied to those units for new grad, hope I get in. Which floor did you like best? In regards to their teamwork and work culture?
  18. @mushmushSD Did you have externship in the ED?
  19. Got it, thank you so much!
  20. Hi! How do you set up a Scripps Taleo account being external? I only see that I have to enter my employee ID.
