Hi! I’m staring prespecialty this year. I also had a few questions about prespecialty year, so if anyone would be willing to give some advice that would be super helpful ?

Does anyone know if the scholarship money we receive from Vanderbilt is just deducted from our tuition or are we given the money through a deposit or something?

I don’t think there is one yet, but if anyone makes one they should post it here in this thread!

The price is something that’s also scaring me. I think my only option is to take out a lot of student loans

Genuine question- I am assuming they already know what they’re doing in regards to admission so why would they make us wait so long this week if they already know? It’s making me sooooo anxious

Is anyone worried about being able to find a job after graduating? I keep seeing stuff about how the field of NPs is so saturated (albeit a lot form forums so they’re not always reliable) and it’s making me nervous that I’m making a terrible decision or something

Im 23 and graduated last year, so I’ve been working for about a year before (hopefully!) attending grad school

I’m assuming it will be Valentine’s. The wait is killing me I wish I could know now!!

Me neither. I kind of had a gut feeling I wouldn’t get in after my interview bc it went pretty meh. So really hoping I get into Vanderbilt which has been my top choice!
