  1. Me and someone else in my class had our interviews for TICU on Wednesday and we both got offered the job yesterday! I know one person in my class interviewed for SICU on Wednesday but not sure if they’ve heard anything yet.
  2. They don’t have a contract. They prefer that you stay two years but there’s no document that you sign that legally binds you to it. But they give you a week to make a decision and get back to them but I’m not sure when they start sending the paperwork.
  3. A couple people in my graduating class have interviewed for PMAC but haven't heard yet. They've been doing interviews all last week and this week apparently so there may still be a chance!
  4. Has anyone interviewed with any Adult Critical Care units yet? I have my interview Wednesday and I’m curious how laid back this conversation is supposed to be and what they may ask!
  5. Yeah Tennessee is notorious for low pay. Vanderbilt is actually the highest in the Nashville area right now for critical care at $25.55 and I’m pretty sure Saint Thomas starts acute care off at $25 so Vanderbilt trails just slightly behind that. I wish they were starting at $26-$30... Vanderbilt’s differential is pretty good though so that will get you up in the $28-$29 ish an hour range if you end up working nights.
  6. On the spot?! That’s awesome! Congratulations!!
  7. I got the email about hearing this week yesterday and then got an email this afternoon about meeting over zoom with Trauma ICU!
  8. I got the email about hearing back within the week and I go to school in the Nashville area.
  9. A couple people in my class got invited for a zoom call for NICU and Peds ED today. I got the update email saying we should hear something this week but that’s it. I applied for TICU.
  10. Yeah mine says under consideration as well.
  11. Me either. I'm getting antsy. I need to hear something ASAP. LOL. Someone I know that works there says they heard that they have already done the panel review of all of our video interviews. That's just what's being said but it may not be 100% true.
  12. Yeah I got that too! I was actually kind of surprised that Vanderbilt's pay was higher than the other hospitals in the area. They've had the lowest pay of all the hospitals in the area for years now but I guess that changed!
  13. Anyone hear anything yet? Not quite "end" of February yet but I'm just curious!
  14. Just in case some people forgot, today is the deadline for the entire application including the recorded interview!
  15. Yeah I emailed someone there and they said late Feb beginning of March. Apparently they don't even look at applications until after the Feb 10th deadline.
  16. Yeah what @clparr96 said. There are 5 questions and the questions will come up one at a time. You have as much time as you need to think about your answer, and you can record whenever. The recording allows 3 minutes to answer and you can redo it as many times as you want. I don't think you can close it and come back later though after you start it. I could be wrong though.
  17. I attached a list of references just in case but that’s it. They’re not looking at letters of recommendation this year so I wouldn’t worry about it unless you have to have one for another facility.
  18. HCA (Tristar Centennial, Skyline, etc.) has already made job offers to a couple people in my class. They're holding interviews right now. They're trying to snatch people up before they can interview at any of the other facilities in Nashville. I've been putting off interviewing with them because they make offers within a couple days of interviewing and you have to respond within 5 days.
  19. Anyone else applying for other nurse residencies in Nashville? I’ve been looking into everywhere for critical care but it seems like all places are doing interviews and filling spots way before Vanderbilt even calls people. Vanderbilt is my first choice but it’s kind of terrifying to put all my eggs in one basket and just hope Vanderbilt works out...
  20. I applied at 10 PM and received the 2nd part of part 1 to record the video interview the next morning at 10:30 AM. Odds are you'll receive it tomorrow.
  21. Yes, you get to pick 4 tracks and 3 specific units within those tracks. For example, my first choice track that I picked was Adult Critical Care and I picked TICU, CVICU, and SICU as my 3 preferred units.
