Have you gotten any more info about what to do for first day of class? I’m first on alternate list so I’m curious to know

Beautifully stated dear friend. I’m the first alternate waiting for my shot at nursing school. If one person drops out this Wednesday, I’ll be called to join the cohort. But the caveat is, I have a 5 month old daughter. So I’d feel sad to leave her. Whatever happens, I’m making peace with. Thank you for sharing your story. I pray God blesses your career.

For those accepted for fall, are you bringing a credit card to pay the $1200 on the first day of class on Wednesday?

Yes all alternates were chosen to cover fall and Spring.

Yes we did. I’m next to get put in the fall cohort if anyone cancels so I’m kinda preparing but not too much in a rush since I have a 4 month old.

Didn't you apply with 85 points? You will 100% get in.

I read in the last COS application cycle thread that if you get a small envelope it's a rejection and if it's I a large manilla envelope, it's an acceptance letter!

That's good! I know in my situation my significant other thinks that when and if I begin making what he makes there will be a power struggle. Right now since he pays the bills he's getting last word but I know when I'm making close to his salary or more, I'll want to throw my weight around a little more.
