If anyone hired at St. Luke's TMC is interested I started a new thread

Hi, I was hoping to start a topic for those of us hired at St. Luke's TMC for July 2021 NRP to ask questions and what not for the onboarding process Feel free to share what unit you will be on and any information you'd like

I'm not sure about all the units but I only had one interview before I received an offer

Has anyone else accepted an offer for St. Luke's TMC?

Yes! I've been a nurse tech in the ER at a level 1 trauma center for almost 2 years now. If I had to guess that's the main reason I got the job. All my other qualifications were pretty basic - 3.2 GPA, 2 letters of recommendation from my clinical instructors, etc. I did a lotttt of interview practice questions too

I just got a job offer from St. Luke's TMC ER!!

I think it depends on the unit because mine was still having interviews today

For those of you who interviewed for St. Luke's on Friday the 16th does anyone remember when they said they'll start sending out initial offers?

Anyone else on here interview for St. Lukes TMC ER? Im curious as to how many they interviewed and how many positions they have available

Does St. Luke's have any other interview days? I thought it was just today but I think I saw someone say the 22nd

Is St. Luke's just one interview? Does anyone know? Or will there be an invite for a second interview after the first big group one

I believe everyones including mine is April 16th? There was multiple slots available for every time so I'm assuming its a group interview, which it has been in the past.

OMG y'all what kind of sick joke... I just got an email from Houston Methodist and basically jumped out of my skin and it's a generic promotional email BYE ?

It didn't say anything about the units anywhere in the email, it just was a general thing for their interview day on the 16th - you just picked a time slot. On my original application survey thing where they asked for your top two areas of interest I picked the two choices/bullets that said "Orthopedics, Rehab, Emergency Department" and "Neurology, Intermediate Care Unit" @newgradnurseJen

Just got an email from St. Lukes to sign up for their Nurse Residency Interview Day!

My friend got contacted for match day interview with MH TMC Neuro ICU on the 19th but declined bc she got another offer from a different state

I'm waiting to hear back from HM TMC as well, I don't think we will hear back until every single interview is finished and I know they were finishing them up this week - not sure which day. If anyone knows the last day of pre-screenings for TMC please let me know Also, did they ask y'all for your top 3 unit choices at the end of your pre-screening too? I'm wondering how the recruiter/HR rep decides who gets their top choice or not. Or even how she decides who should get a second interview

I had emailed Harris Health basically asking if they're still contacting people for interviews/when we would hear back by if we have/have not been chosen for an interview and they emailed me back and said: "Status is pending at this time. Results will be sent out via e-mail. Timeline is to be determine at this time." Soooo still not really sure what they mean by that

Same here nothing yet, but also quick update I did get in contact with a nurse recruiter for HM TMC and she did confirm that acute care was just an umbrella term so no worries about the unit situation!

I also put TMC ED first choice and got the email with acute care. I called HR and they didn't know anything about it and said I'd have to send an email to ask the nurse residency program so I did and haven't heard back yet. My understanding is that acute care is a unit that is basically med surg. Did anyone that put ED for TMC actually get an email with the ED job ID?

I still never got an email from Methodist.. anyone else not get anything? I want to make sure I don't need to contact them
