Hey I’m in my second semester’ I started Summer 2021. Do you have a facebook? I can add you so you can ask questions

In past years, I saw that they used to allow people to defer but it had to be a good reason like if u were a VBSN student and became active duty or something like that — more of a case by case basis. Currently tho Summer 2021 cohort has about 50 ish people (we started signing up for classes) maybe that could be why they don't want to defer?

Yeah so we have a page specifically for just our cohort and I posted it above! There is also a GW BSN page that all the nursing cohorts are in. I can add u to them just add me on fb

Acadia at Ashburn and Loundon Heights is the places where most ppl live. There is a GWU housing page but its on facebook

I have all my prereqs completed but usually thats a course u need to take before the program starts thats a prereq

If you applied by the final deadline , you’re fine. You’ll probably hear back in 2-4 weeks or so

They said it during admitted students day.. it’s usually for ADN to BSN program but its now open to ABSN which is for 50% of tuition

I have a 3.5 overall GPA. As & Bs in prereqs. Im heavily involved in leadership on campus and I worked for a nursing professor as a TA for 4 semester, student assistant in my health promotion office, on several health committees, RA and other things on campus. I also switched from premed to nursing so my GPA has an upward trend as well. I think you’re in a good chance for acceptance. I also think taking courses from GW helps probably?

Literally! LOL I even saw my decision before they sent out emails telling us to check. I was checking my portal everyday and just saw the decision at like 3pm and they didn't send out notification emails till 5pm

I live close to mercy and pace in NYC. Decent schools but the experience isn't the same. Suny downstate is in Brooklyn. Good school. City experience and expensive to live in NYC. NYU I heard has big class sizes and take alot of ppl. Tuition is almost the same as GW.
