  1. I’ve been in FL nearly 1 year, during Covid, so maybe my observation is not correct, but it seems that LPNs have most opportunities here, with RNs left with slimmer pickings of hospitals, home health, some hospice jobs (but not nearly all), corrections (some roles, not all) and a few slots in LTAC. The curious thing is that LPN training in FL is minimal compared to what I saw in WA (1 year versus 3-4 by the time prereqs are factored in). In many other states, LPNs can hardly get any jobs. I will not be staying for this reason, and the ridiculously low pay. Can anyone corroborate my observations?

We commonly did it in WA. Label it well. Protect it from getting spilled or knocked off. In a way, you can focus better by prepouring and then keep your eyes on the inmates and have better situational awareness. Good luck!
