I submitted in September :// still waiting

Hi! I'm new here but just read through about 14 pages of posts LOL.. anyway my application was submitted on 9/15/20 (super early since some of the other programs I applied to have a May start date & I was hoping to hear back sooner). I am SHOCKED that it is now March and I am still waiting to hear back. I have been awaiting an email but just checked my application and it doesn't look like anything has changed. It still says "Your application is complete and under review. We look forward to providing you with a notification following the application deadline", my checklist is still visible, as well as my admissions counselors information. I recently put down a $500 deposit for Umass to secure my spot (being the only acceptance I got so far). However, I am still waiting to hear back from Pace, Miami, Northeastern's Charlotte campus, and Med U in Charleston SC. I would love to move down south (I'm from NY) but would also love to spend a year in the city & am hoping for the best with Pace's program. My only concern is cost $$$$. Right now I am finishing my undergrad at Binghamton with a BS in integrative neuroscience & a double minor. I have about a 3.35 overall and A's in gen chem & bio, stats, and psych. I have B & B- in AP & C in microbio (which are all super challenging at my school). I have a lot of volunteer experience in hospitals and also am an EMT & have volunteering locally throughout the pandemic. Its pretty frustrating to still be waiting because I want to know my plans for next year! I also know some programs are leaning more towards grades than experiences which doesn't do me any favors. join the facebook group!! im in a similar situation.. im from southern dutchess NY so I would be moving to the area as well. according to what I've heard from a girl in the program currently you are always at the springfield campus and clinical are in that area as well

hey everyone! I got accepted this week with a 3.3 overall and 3.6 pre req. I have a lot of experience in the health field including 2 years as an EMT. Im currently studying neuroscience and have forensics & wellness minors. I wouldn't say that they don't take GPA into considerations but im sure they are considering those who touch all aspects of the application including the personal statement, experience, and letters of rec. I also wouldn't consider not hearing back yet a declination. im sure that as people sent in deposits they will get a better idea of how many more spots they have to fill. Keep your head up & best of luck to everyone!!

I just received my admissions letter! same thing, I got an email saying acceptance and opened it to the letter but no changes on my spire account. has anyone made a facebook group yet?

I never heard anything about an interview or math assessment as part of the process? I applied in August and still haven't heard back. Last I checked they should be sending responses back by the end of the month, but no one notified me of the size of the incoming class or how many applied. Has anyone else heard anything?

what were your grades/ previous experience like?

I applied back in September but wasn’t verified until early december. I got an email 2 days ago saying my application is under review. I emailed and asked if I could send my updated transcript from this semester & she said no because my app is being reviewed this week. I’m hoping this means I will receive a decision soon. good luck to all that applied!!
