  1. We have started this in my ER. I feel like I spend all day tasking rather than truly assessing and taking care of my patients. However, it’s nice to have a second set of hands nearby.
  2. A restrained patient should absolutely always have a sitter for safety purposes.
  3. Experience only comes with time. The fact that you care about how you’re doing means you’re already a good nurse. Keep your eyes open and never stop learning. Hang in there. You belong.
