  1. Yeah! I have been pretty nervous about it and looking back on last years’ timeline. Hoping it’s just a different schedule rather than less seats coming up at all.
  2. Has anyone heard anything about the AL list movement from admissions or anyone else? I am sitting at AL-19 and feel pretty nervous that fewer people will get taken off this year.
  3. Congratulations! That must feel unreal ? Thank you so much for sharing!!
  4. From what I understand, CASPER results include all nursing CASPer applicants (so this would include people applying to other schools). So there would be some wiggle room between quartiles. I scored a 4th quartile with CASPer (1 on UBC’s scale), but got a 2 on my AL list letter. So I took that as there are more competitive applicants to UBC, so the quartiles are skewed down a bit (so some of us are in different quartiles). This is just what I am getting from it though, so I could definitely be wrong! Last year I scored in the bottom quartile for CASPer and this year I improved my score a fair bit by not studying at all this year, so take the CASPer with a grain of salt (I know I felt pretty bummed last year when I tanked it). It’s just a test after all, it does not see inside of you like they might try to make it seem.
  5. I am AL-19! Good luck ?
  6. Awh darn I am so sorry to hear that! Yeah it feels insane how competitive it is considering shortages… I applied to only UBC last year and when I didn’t get in I remember being devastated. Next year or the later NIC acceptance, do not lose hope!
  7. I accepted COTR ? what about you?
  8. Fingers crossed for today ❤️
  9. I am in the same boat! It feels really weird! This whole time I've felt like it has been such a tough wait, but now that it is really happening, I am so so scared.
  10. Hi Gulniza! I got conditional offers from COTR and Selkirk.
  11. Yeah, I think that is what I am going to end up doing, I just feel kinda bad knowing the waitlist is awful! The deadline is the 26th of April, which is also such a bummer because it is like maybe 2-5 days before we'll find out about UBC! Sounds like that is the move then! I hope they keep people on the waitlists for those schools even after people have officially accepted all the seats in case people drop later... I would feel awful if not, but nursing seats seem pretty in demand, so I think they must!
  12. Hey! I am wondering what other people are doing with other options and acceptance deadlines? COTR and Selkirk BSN both have a deadline to accept that is before I think we’ll hear from UBC. They ask for a bit of money for a deposit... I am not super hopeful I will get into UBC, but I feel weird accepting and paying before I know for sure? Anyone else in this position?
  13. Hi! I have applied to Selkirk, COTR, and UBC-V. So far I have gotten into Selkirk but have not heard from COTR, and I expect to hear from UBC much later.
  14. Hi! Mine just switched to being reviewed by the faculty/school a few days ago. I think it’s probably just an automatic change to when they open your supplemental or some other part of your application - I don’t think it matters at all when it changes though. I am also checking the SSC way too much. Hopefully the earlier supplemental deadline might mean earlier decision making?
  15. Wow, that is awesome, thank you so much for asking about this! Nice to know an additional bunch of lovely humans will get a chance at this program.
