  1. yeah for sure! what’s your ig?
  2. im not too sure if there’s any and I don’t know anyone else who got accepted for this fall, we can make one though if there is no other group!
  3. hi! yes I decided to go for viu:) did you accept your offer?
  4. you received your acceptance? if so, congratulations!
  5. It’s no worries at all! I wasn’t on the waitlist, I was offered a seat the first week of April I believe.
  6. Hi, I’ve been accepted but I’m gonna decline my offer, hopefully that will help you out! Also in my experience, you can just call the admissions office and ask how many people are on the waitlist and they will let you know.
  7. Hi! The first two years are WL and the other two years are in Kamloops. I got accepted to VIU today though so I think I am gonna chose this program instead.
  8. Thank you! and no I forgot to send my transcript to NIC a few months ago and my application got cancelled. And yeah I’m choosing TRU I think
  9. I believe VIU is getting back to us middle to end of this month. Fingers crossed!
  10. Hi! yeah I’ve been accepted to CNC, Selkirk, CMC, COTR, Keyano, STFX, TRU, ULethbridge, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Just waiting on VIU, OC, MUN, UAlberta, and UFV
  11. Hi, I am currently applying to the following nursing programs and am quite unsure about my GPA at the moment. I am aware nursing programs in BC are very competitive and would just like to have an idea of what grades people have gotten in with. Can anyone who recently got into the following programs share with me what their GPA was? COTR, Selkirk, CNC, UNBC, Camosun/UVIC, UBCO, NIC, OC, VIU, UFV, and TRU I have a 91 in Foundations 12, 87 in English 12, 90 in Chemistry 11, 78 in Bio 12 (currently retaking for a better grade, I am anticipating 86+), and I am currently taking Chemistry 12 as well. I also have 24 non-nursing credits and I am taking some nursing courses right now that will help lessen my course load once I am in the program. I am also wondering if I should include my post-secondary credits as well when I apply and if that will increase my chances? I am applying to quite a few places and so ordering transcripts will be quite pricey and so I am just wondering if it is even worth it. I am also applying to BCIT, Langara, and VCC with the required prerequisites but I am aware they prefer applicants with much more credits. Thank you!
  12. Hi, I am a second-year student at SFU looking to get into nursing. I was wondering if I need to do the Academic Foundations for Potential Nursing Applicants at Douglas in order to be considered for admission for their nursing program. I am interested in joining the nursing program at Douglas, however, I do not want to wait to apply in Fall to be accepted for the following year (Fall 2022). Could I just do the prerequisites at Langara or VCC and then do my remaining prerequisites at Douglas (some are only offered at Douglas) as a visiting student? Also, how is Langara's nursing program as well? I am aware you need above a 3.7-3.8 GPA to be considered, is this doable? I am also looking at places such as Camosun, UFV, and TRU, which I think I just need high school grades for? I am a bit lost in all this and would just like some clarity. This whole process seems so daunting and competitive. My GPA at the moment is a 3.6 (around an 85 average) however it seems like I need to be performing much better, keeping how competitive this all is.
