  1. @CLG4 @Ursenay Obetay yeah I reached out Kate just got back to me with the welcome email! Whew, I am glad I didn't wait any longer. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, let's do a facebook group!
  2. Thanks for the tip on the stethescope! Has anyone gotten their welcome packets or heard when we should here something? I haven't heard from anyone since I got my acceptance letter.
  3. @kelsanne Very cool another Norcal girl. ? Yeah I will be in the fall co-hort. The mountains would be nice. I have some understanding of the area, but I don't think we will really know where we will land until we are out there. We can't do an apartment with our big dog so we will definitely be commuting.
  4. @Kelsanne my partner and I are moving from northern California. We are also wanting to move somewhere cheaper outside of Boston . We were even thinking out of state areas like providence, rhode Island or New hampshire? It would be awesome to live close to other students for study groups. I am not big fan of Zoom.. Anyone else planning on living outside the city?
  5. @Benzo5 Yeah so they had actually called me before giving me any formal acceptance or declination letter and asked if I would be interested in the Fall cohort instead. I jumped on it because it allowed me to give more notice to my work. So I didn't have to reapply they just moved me to the next cohort. I am guessing I would have been waitlisted if I didn't go that route.
  6. Hey There! I got accepted and will be attending the Fall program (I had originally applied for Spring). Good luck with applications, I look forward to meeting this cohort. ?
  7. Oh nevermind, I figured it out. You have to download the link like its a file on my android.
  8. Thank you for making a group! I can't join for some reason, I think it might be because I already have a another Slack account? What is the workspace URL?
  9. Hi @LCD123, thank you for this feedback. Do you think that this program is addressing these issues with its newer cohorts? I have only found negative information since getting accepted. Do students really get clinicals at Mass Gen hospital and other good clinical environments?
  10. Yeah, I was shocked. I am sure that they are overwhelmed but it felt unprofessional. I can accept being out competed but the circumstances feel like it wasn't even reviewed.
  11. The same thing happened to me with my physiology course. My course should have been acceptable based off of their programs admission requirements and they seemingly missed it on my transcript. I sure would have appreciated a phone call about this. I could never get a hold of anyone by phone in the months prior to make sure everything was squared away. I have my degree in Pre-physical therapy so I have taken multiple physiology courses. I asked for an appeal and the only response I got was "Here we go".
  12. Hey there! I got into the Grand Island campus as well and I am also from Northern California. I am also not so sure about Grand Island being in an isolated location, but it sounds like the hospital there is quality. I have to decide by Friday. Did you decide if you are going to this program?
