  1. LPNs are still good nurses

    I am very happy being an LPN. I have heard all the comments in the past. Be the best you can, being responsible and accountable and keeping up on your continuing education. Develop a relationship with your patients and continue to learn and grow through experience. BTW I worked in LTC before every member of the team in that setting is important.

  2. Phasing out LPN

    I remember being told this back in nursing school. “Get your RN because LPNs will be phased out.” Fortunately after almost 30 years as an LPN I work in a wonderful office with amazing Internal Medicine/Pediatric physicians. I am happy and have learned so much. We are true nurses and are our skills are needed.
