  1. Any LVN to RN applicants here? I'll see you guys at orientation 🥳
  2. Oh wow that's amazing! ?? What about your micro class?
  3. I am in the same boat! Did you also take anatomy in Spring 2016?
  4. I couldn't agree more! Commenting to follow this chat. Good luck everyone
  5. My email was worded differently, it didn’t mention anything about finishing in progress classes. I guess the waiting continues ?
  6. Got an email from my coach that I was waitlisted for fall 2021! Does anyone know if waitlisted applicants are guaranteed a spot in another cohort if everyone accepts their spot this term?! At least that’s the way the email was worded
  7. Just checked my portal for SD and I didn’t get in but I’ll be reapplying next term. Good luck to you all and congrats to those of you that got in!!
  8. Still didn't get anything from SD ?
  9. I’m an SD applicant and my portal still says 100% complete ?
  10. Has anyone heard back? I haven’t received anything yet
  11. I hope we hear back soon ?? I’m not sure if they’re being delayed cause of COVID but in the previous cohorts people were hearing back early-mid December
  12. @Monique CNA Yes I still have to take research methods and human development so my interviewer only checked those off and said that I still need to take those
  13. @NurseMel2 SD campus! I guess it varies on which one
  14. I think my post interview form was attached to the Pre-Admission Applicant Agreement Form. I signed it right after my interview and emailed it back. Didn’t specifically get anything from ------------------------- though.
  15. @t.winna LOL surprisingly I submitted my app sept 26 and got an email for an interview 3 days after. It seems to be different for each person but who knows
  16. I feel the same way about the interview but my interviewer was super nice! I feel like our conversation was a good 15mins though and the rest was just about the program, the writing prompt and if I had any questions. In total it was about 30 mins and then I had another 25ish mins for the writing prompt. Which it seems like I was the only one that had one? ? my interview was a few days after the deadline so maybe they got rid of the prompt for everyone else but I’m not sure. Just trying to stay positive until Dec!
  17. @Monique CNA That is weird! I think it depends on the interviewer. She told me during the interview that she’d email me a prompt so if your interviewer didn’t mention it then they didn’t want one.
  18. Hi guys I applied to the SD campus for fall 2021! I also had my interview through Zoom on Monday. Some of the questions were situational type questions which I related them to working at my job as an MA. Some of the questions were Why APU? Why nursing at this time? Why do you want to become a nurse/NP? Explain a time where there was a conflict/how did you resolve it? Explain a time where you made a mistake and how was it fixed? What are your top 3 strengths and weaknesses? My interview was also around 30ish mins. They did give me a writing prompt that I did after the interview and they gave me around 20 mins to type a summary of the article and email back to my interviewer so just be prepared Incase they want you to do it. Overall I think it went well so now we wait!
