I emailed the nursing and admissions people and ---------------------- emailed back today and said it was calculated at a 3.41?? Which doesn't make sense because if they took my last however many courses, I got mostly A's, A-'s, and I think 1 B, excluding the B-'s from Stats and A&P I took this Summer. And I know that a couple of them can be replaced by some of my MRU courses, and the ones that would be replaced because you're higher are A's ? And my GPA from MRU was a 3.56ish and my UVic one, when converted to the 4.0 scale, is a 3.67ish so I would have assumed I'd be in the low to mid 3.5 range and not at a 3.41 ?
And I thought they took the ones that are considered transferable, and not the most recent ones taken? Or at least that was what Lindy had explained to me when I met with her back in February.
Yeah, I've been looking in to them and into UBC but it's more of the cost of living that worries me. I'm already pretty in debt from my previous degree and lost my job due to COVID earlier this year and haven't really had any luck finding anything work wise ? U of C is just local for me so I could still live at home, ahahah
