  1. It can be stressful, I've been having anxiety non-stop LOL. We will get through it and you are welcome:)
  2. You are welcome, we have to support one another now with nursing school. I don't think you have to get all of them right away because some of them have months in between. Im sure they just want to see that you have started getting them. Thats how it was when I got my Certified Clinical Medical Assisting Certificate. This is my second time using CastleBranch. But make sure you get in to do the physical soon and the TB test is a two step test so you'll have to go back a few times to have the test read.
  3. On the CastleBranch site it should said Drug Test on the site and there is a blue circle with a plus sign in it. you can click on it and it will drag down so that you can print out the drug screen order. I started working on the required clinical requirements already. I would knock out as much as you can now so you don't have to do it later.
  4. You don’t need to fast you can eat and drink normal.
  5. Hi, On the bottom of the order there should be some locations listed that are close to where you live you can just go and walk in. You do not need to make an appointment. I went yesterday and was in and out very quickly.
  6. Thank you, just checked it’s there. So excited:)
  7. Hey, I was wondering if it was just me. I sent my email the same day and didn’t hear back yet. Maybe it takes time for them to go through and verify everybody who responds. Congratulations, I’m glad to hear you got your letter of acceptance. Good luck!
  8. Hello, Sorry Im having trouble with figuring out putting my response on here. Congratulations to you as well. I am also very excited to start the program. I had registered for the Traditional BSN information session that is going to be held on the 12th. I am no longer going to attend that since I am accepting my offer to Nova's program. Mason has their RN-BSN Dual enrollment information session tomorrow. If you look up GMU Nursing you should be able to find their information sessions and be able to sign up for one. I think I will wait until after our first semester to make sure I can handle it.
  9. Hey, I took my Bio 141 with professor Lisa Williams and Bio 142 With Professor Raji. They are both very good professors and give study guides for their exams.
  10. I fully understand were you are coming from. It's very frustrating not knowing where all your hard work is taking you. I would say apply to Mason and see what happens. Thats what my plan was if I was rejected again for Nova's program. You won't lose anything by trying to apply there especially since the HESI is no longer required. On the downside Mason traditional program is 15 credits a semester, which can be a lot. Good Luck to you. I don't think everybody got an email yet. There are a few people saying they didn't get one yet.
  11. Hi Everybody, I got my acceptance letter as well. Words cannot describe how happy I am. Congratulations to all who got acceptance and to those who did not, DO NOT GIVE UP! I wanted to give up many times but forced myself to keep trying. Good Luck Everybody.
  12. I got an A in BIO 141, Bio 142, Eng 111, Psy 230, SDV, and I have an A in all other courses besides Bio 101 which I got a B. The only course missing is Microbiology which I plan on taking now either in the Spring or Fall semester.
  13. That’s true I hope so too. I will take a look and see if I can reserve a spot for the RN-BSN Co-Enrollment information session. They may fill up quickly not sure. I’m sure there is a limit.
  14. Should I attend both maybe then? So that I can cover both options.
  15. I will let you know I'm attending just in case I am rejected from Nova's program. I have enough credits to transfer. If I am accepted to the program at Nova then I will be looking into the RN-BSN dual enrollment program as well.
  16. Hello everybody, Is anyone on here planning on attending the nursing information session for the Traditional BSN program at Mason on November 12th? I signed up for it on their site. I am anxiously awaiting the decisions from Nova. Hope we all get a decision soon.
  17. Hey, you do not need to have an SAT if you have taken the required courses to transfer to Mason.
  18. Hello, sorry I just saw all the post I would recommend looking at GMU’s online nursing information just Google GMU nursing. They have a lot of information on there, and you can also sign up for an information session. Hope it helps anyone else who may be interested in transferring to Mason. It could be helpful to look into the Co-enrollment as well that looks interesting if any of us get accepted to Nova’s program. That way we can work on the RN and BSN at the same time. Good Luck everyone:)
  19. Yeah I have almost all except 12 credits of the Masoncore done. All of their pre req are done as of this semester. The core courses are required to be completed by the end of the Spring semester before starting. I plan on attending an information session for Mason in November. I spoke to someone at Mason who said my application is strong but I would still like to be accepted to Nova.
  20. Thank you for your reply, yeah it looks like that would be the better thing to do at this point. Especially since most hospitals do require a BSN now. I may apply to both Mason and Nova and see what happens. I just don’t want to be waiting for years to get into a program. Mason’s application should be opening up soon.
  21. Hello, this is my first time on here. I applied to nova’s nursing program for the Fall 2020 and was rejected because there was too many applicants. I have A’s in Bio 141, Psy 230, Bio 142 literally I have all A’s. I still got rejected. I applied for Fall semester and was told my application was incomplete due to not taking Algebra in High School. Now I am taking Math 154 to full fill the math. I am honestly about to have enough credits to graduate from Nova. I am just going to apply to GMU at this point. I’m not sure if I will try to apply again for Fall 2021. Sorry I’m probably just ranting but I really want to get into nursing if I’m rejected again it will be the third time:( Good Luck too all of you:)
