what unit are you on? I applied for PCU but accepted Tele. I didn't know there were multiple kinds of differentials. I was under the impression it was only 2.50 like my recruiter explained.

Yeah that kind of confuses me. I thought it was 25 to start, and in July we go up to 27. Does that mean after immersion, we work only 3 days and get differentials? Differentials are only 2.50

yes they are pretty standard. BSW starts at 26.75 when I interviewed for them. Methodist was 25. THR 26.50. Other Christus are around 24-25. I interviewed a lot of places LOL. Not sure about Seton but would expect 24 to 27

Can I ask why you declined the PCU/EP/tele? I live in Dallas! So living so close to home is awesome. I was planning on simply doing med surg for the first year of nursing. I accepted Tele. From what I know of tele, tele is pretty much cardiac med surg. I hope I'm right.

Thank you! How was your interview? The interview was pretty chill when I did it. I do not even remember the questions because of all the interviews I had haha.

They sent me one too today LOL. But I had 2 interviews with them in October and in July. And I never seem to pass the second interviews. But they told me I wasn't selected 2 weeks after the interview. I guess this email is just a generic rejection email. After trying with Baylor twice last year, I give up. I accepted an offer at St.David's.

For those in Texas what months do most residency programs start in Texas, specifically DFW areas? I am a new May grad. Passed boards 3 weeks ago last month and been having a hard time finding my first RN. All the Residencies just opened up recently for Feb 2021 and I also accepted a job offer for this month. My plan was to work at this facility until I get a residency. So far I noticed most residencies start October and February. What other months do they start? Is their one in May? Is it every 3 months a residency opens? The reason I ask is because I want to get my 6 months at this new facility so I can ramp up my resume and begin a new residency in May rather than February.
