  1. I am fortunate to not work while in nursing school but I have many peers who work part time and still manage to get A's and B's. Personally, I don't think it matters as long as your job is flexible as nursing school schedule changes each term!
  2. I got accepted to CCC but I applied to only MHCC and CCC. I love it here! The faculty are sooo welcoming and understanding of my life situations. I took all my prereqs at MHCC so CCC was never my first option. I'm glad it turned out like this since I got waitlisted so far down the list for MHCC. NP!
  3. Hi there! I went through the process last year and honestly didn't expect much from it since I was first year applicant BUT I made it. I wish you all the luck. As to what to expect... make sure to check your emails, practice interview questions and if you can look at the immunization requirements carefully ? Anything else on your mind?
  4. My friend got off the waitlist for CCC! Thought I would mention that here.
  5. Hi I know friends who went through nursing school, continued to work (part time and closer to full time hours) and graduated nursing school just fine. My friends say nursing school is like a full time job, so if you can you shouldn't work, but if you need to work it's doable with LOTS of dedication.
  6. I did not had that issue. That's a bit odd and glad you brought it up! I only had one email which mentioned that I'm in the top 15.
  7. Hi everyone! I am also on the top 15 for CCC. I am inspired and thankful for everyones input on these forums. Congrats to everyone who got in! I can't wait to feel that excitement, hopefully next application cycle.
  8. I haven't heard anything yet from Clackamas too.
  9. I feel the same too! Plus I can’t wait to know if I got accepted/waitlist/declined. I just want to know something haha.
  10. Yep they did. It doesn’t look promising to me ?
  11. Congrats! Could you share your stats so I can compare to mines. I’m on the alternate list. ?
  12. Did you got in? I'm on the alternate list.
  13. You'll do great! Dress up for success and be confident in your answers. I found this website through Google LOL.
  14. I felt pretty confident in my interviews as I am a first year applicant. The only thing I felt difficult was the waiting room before going into the interview and the waiting game after interviews. How about yourself?
  15. Thank you so much! It's nice to know that they are giving tips to grow as an applicant. Any news from your other nursing school apps?
  16. Does anyone know when MHCC and CCC gives out the results on who gets accepted/waitlist etc? Much appreciated!
  17. Hi! Do you know when MHCC gives out their results on who gets accepted/waitlist etc? I heard it's June but some people tell me May.
  18. Hi! You said you signed up for the info session on the 27th. I couldn't attend that session and I signed up for a different one listed. Did Linfield say anything important that you think is worth mentioning? I'm curious!
  19. Yes! CCC gives out more scenario based questions. There isn't just one way of answering them so you got to be confident.
  20. What did you hear about mhcc? What mixed things?
  21. I remembered they said roughly 24 students due to covid and such.
