    I’m an NP currently working on my resume so that I can return to bedside nursing. I wish I had done my research about NP profession. It’s lonely and boring. The doctors I worked with were condescending and patronizing. I left one NP job for another and was no different. You are grilled for not meeting revenue quota. I can’t predict if patients will show up for their appointment or not. When you are a woman and black you are treated differently. After 4 years I was done. I quit 8 months ago to re-evaluate my career goals and future and now I’m returning to bedside nursing.
