  1. I had actually applied for Detroit since its closer to me and I'd be able to commute. My acceptance email stated they only had 16 seats at the location. My understanding is that there is a waitlist incase anyone drops for those who applied with the Detroit preference. Not sure how many seats EL takes!
  2. Yeah I think I read on the admissions packet list thing that out of state students are charged an addition $1500 per credit hour ? And considering how many credit we have to take.... ouchie. I wonder if this schedule is manageable to work while in school? I though I read somewhere you'd have to work 30 hours a week to get tuition covered? That's a lot of hours
  3. Hi! Congratulations on your acceptance!! I also had been looking for a thread so I am glad you made one ? I originally applied for Detroit but got accepted to EL due to high demand for the Detroit location. Thankfully I did undergrad at MSU (finished in '17) so I am familiar with the area! I would suggest looking at facebook housing groups because people are always posting. You could also choose to post and see if anyone else is looking for someone to room with. Personally, I would opt for grad student roomates. I would also try to be not so intertwined with undergrad living (immediately across from campus) so I would try to look at Hannah lofts. Sadly, it is a bit more expensive but I think for me it would be worth the quiet. I do know however in the years since I have graduated they have done A LOT of remodeling and I think there are newer apartments close to campus. I'll have to do some research. In the meantime I've created a FB group in hopes more accepted students will find it and we can all get to chatting. ? Congrats again on your acceptance! https://www.facebook.com/groups/3765294776857663/
  4. Wondering if we should make (if there isn't one already) a FB group? I don't know about anyone else but I would be coming in from out of state and would love the opportunity to chat with people and try to figure out housing ?
  5. I got Pediatric Primary Care!! Yayayay ?
  6. Congratulations to all those who have received acceptances!! Good luck to those who did not and are applying elsewhere ❤️ Results still showing as pending for me.
  7. I believe they said they are not giving decision until the end of Feb! Mine is still pending as well. @Kimrhia I would not think they are doing any "in-person" type gatherings due to COVID. Especially a mingling event, but I could be wrong! Good luck to everyone! Fingers crossed for acceptances ????
  8. oh my goodness. That is very fast! Thank you for the heads up! I hope your interview went well ❤️
  9. That's awesome. I certainly hope so! Thank you for the information ?
  10. I wonder if during the interview they give you time to think of your answers before recording your response or if it begins recording and then gives you the prompts?
  11. I am also applying PNP! Good luck to you ? I just have the interview left as well- hopefully yours went well! If you found any helpful tips I would love to hear them!
  12. When you say you opened the information session a handful of time- did they give you an information packet or was it something recorded? I'm signed up for the September session but really wanted to have my app complete before then. I still haven't submitted my purpose statement so I am interested to hear what they say. What are you specializing in? I would be interested in a facebook page!!
  13. Hey guys! Also applying for the 2021 cycle. Specializing in peds. REALLY hopeful but I hear the program is competitive. Good luck to you all!
