  1. I’m a CNA right now and I’m on my feet for 8-16 hours! I either wear my all white Cloves (online brand) or Hoka Cliftons and they’re both great! Also, I’d recommend buying compression socks because they really help your legs not get as tired:-)
  2. Hi everyone! I also applied to the Spring 2022 cohort. I'm a second bachelor's student, and currently working as a CNA in a skilled! I'm applying with 78 points, so I'm crossing my fingers!
  3. I got an email saying I was accepted! I was outright rejected from the ABSN program so I’m surprised I got into the BSN. Not sure how I’ll afford this though being out of state and a post bacc?
  4. Hi! I emailed admissions today and we should hear on or before March 19th!
  5. Hey! I’m from NorCal and was also accepted! I’m not 100% on if this is the program I’ll be choosing but if so I’d love to do housing with some other students! My email is [email protected] if you want to reach out:)!
  6. Thank you! I’m waiting on Seattle U, OHSU and UW!
  7. Til Mar 15! I applied before the priority deadline!
  8. Just got my acceptance this morning! Just waiting on some other program decisions before I decide!
  9. Did anyone apply as a post-bacc?
  10. Nothing for me yet either!
  11. I haven’t heard anything yet!
  12. So far I haven’t heard anything either! I emailed them yesterday asking when we should expect interview decisions, but so far I haven’t gotten a response. Hopefully we will hear back soon!
  13. Did you all see this? No interviews for the Portland ABSN this year, only essays!
  14. Has anyone else received any admission results? So far I haven’t seen anything in my regular or spam folder!
  15. Did you apply as a transfer for the fall/Winter 2021 cohort? I haven't heard anything yet! Thank you:)
  16. Yes, last Wednesday they responded and told me results would come out “shortly”. They weren’t very specific!
  17. I applied for the Summer entry as well! I just emailed them today asking for the decision timeline and so far haven't heard back.
  18. Hi! I'm applying as a post-bacc (I believe this is the same process as a transfer) for the autumn 2021 start! I think the deadline is January 15th, so I was wondering how long it took to get an invitation for an interview after your deadline, and how the interview was in general! I also have no idea how competitive this school is besides knowing only 5 transfers get in per cohort. Thank you:)
  19. Hi! For the ABSN application, the proctored essay was 3 math questions (super simple, I do recommend dosagehelp if you want some extra practice) and the essay was regarding nursing during the time of COVID-19! I'm assuming it will be pretty similar to the BSN essay.
  20. Hi! I'm applying as a post-bacc student. I applied to the ABSN program and unfortunately got rejected. UW is really competitive! I got my degree in Biology from UC Davis in California. To spruce up my application, I re-did my resume and added an optional statement that was a bit more personal than the required essays. I'm also applying to PLU, SU, OHSU and SPU!
  21. Hi! I also submitted my application back in October. So far I haven't heard anything besides some emails regarding financial aid.
  22. Hey! I also applied to the another school as a post bacc and didn’t get in. I totally relate about not feeling like a competitive applicant since I don’t have my CNA and instead work in home-health care with adults in my community. Your experience as a phlebotomist is awesome and so are you grades- I’m sure you’ll get in to SU!
  23. I haven’t received anything either:(
  24. Yes, they did! It was a bit over 500 applicants this year, so a lot more than normal.
