  1. BUYER BEWARE@ KSU ASBN!***! Their program is highly disorganized. You will get in there and quickly become infuriated at how they operate. Many times they make things up as they go, which does not keep the program fair and consistent for all. They have been known to throw in additional test topics the day before, leaving no time to master the content before the exam. Not because they want you to fail. Because they are so disorganized and inefficient they don’t realize how that sort of action can negatively impact a student. The director of the ASBN program should not be in that position. Completely inept. Great lecturer, but not leadership material. Here’s something you all likely did not know. Today forward you no longer have to beg and obsess over the KSU ASBN program. Forget about that obnoxious point system that has you OCDing over every little grade you think will help or hurt your chances. Most don’t know this but Walsh Univeristy in Canton Ohio now has something called the Fast Track BSN. It allows you to earn your BSN in six semesters. It’s not called an accelerated program but the ability to earn a BSN in six semesters in undoubtably an accelerated program. What’s so awesome about this BSN program is that there’s nothing out there like it!! 1) Earn an BSN from a highly respected CCNE accredited university in 6 semesters. 2) It is not competitive. If you meet the easy entrance criteria, you’re in! No silly point system and no waitlist. 3) You do not need to possess a bachelors degree before attending. It’s helpful to have one because your course load will be lighter but you don’t need one. Walsh has innovated and pioneered this program so that it’s open to more people than ever. 4) There are pre-reqs to entrance but only a few and far less than most BSN programs. 5) It’s 100% online for all theory courses. You only attend in person for Evening and weekend labs and clinicAls (requires 1 or 2 days out of your week to attend labs and clinicAls) Something very appealing to those with families or otherwise busy lives. 6) The staff is very friendly and approachable. They are happy that you chose them and are always willing to talk with you. 7) $500 per credit flat rate. No other fees added. Not technology fees, administrative fees or anything else normally seen in your tuition bill. Just a flat rate of $500/credit. If you already have a degree and many of your non nursing courses transfer then you only need 54 nursing class credits. $500 times 54 credits is $27,000. They also have all sorts of financial assistance opportunities if you are in need. If you apply now and you meet entrance criteria, you’re in! Now tell me what reputable school can beat that?! Forget Kent State and check out the brand new Fast Track BSN at Walsh for busy adults. No prior degree needed, but helpful to make your load lighter. I know. You’re welcome!!????? https://www.walsh.edu/onlinebsn.html
