  1. @Omar Khaled I knew you would! Congrats! ???
  2. @Marisa Kate I recieved mine Saturday night and I also know a few more who got theirs. Just wait they are coming! Also, Good Luck!
  3. @Omar Khaled thank you! Yeah my GPA is a 3.2 and I made an 80 on my TEAS.
  4. I just received both of my letters...I didn't get into the BSN program..which I didn't think my GPA was high enough and I dropped micro but I did get accepted into the ASN program! Yay! ❤❤❤ good luck everyone!
  5. I havn't. I assume letters will be mailed out this week. I will let you know when I get home if I have anything in my mailbox.
  6. @AshReady2021 I don't think we can until accepted or maybe the advisor registers us for the 1st semester? I'm not really sure how that works but I don't think anyone can just register for that class. I definitely haven't tried though. On a positive note though, we have waited this long so next week or the week after isn't near as far a way as we have waited and we all will finally get a yay or nay!
  7. @Kuvesh86 if you don't mind dorm life or don't have kids like myself I would def check on the dorms on the macon campus, years ago anyone could rent out a room and it was pretty affordable but its only open to MGA students now. If not, I know there are a few spots close to downtown macon that rent out rooms to college students (mostly to the other college there: Mercer university). There is also a place off Zebulon Rd that caters to college students but its expensive.
  8. @Kuvesh86 which program did you apply to? I believe the BSN programs are taught on the Macon/warner robins campus if so I would prob look into the dorms on the Macon campus, if thats something that you might be interested in. If Im not mistaken the Spring ASN program is on the Dublin campus and I don't have a clue about housing down there. The city is alot smaller than Macon though. How far is your commute now if you don't mind me asking. I'm hoping to get in the ASN program and its about a 45 minute commute from my house in Macon.
  9. @Kuvesh86 I havn't recieved anything yet. If they send them out earlier than expected though, that would be awesome! ?
  10. @Omar Khaled I think we have all came to the conclusion- it just depends! LOL But that GPA is a really strong and your TEAS is still average! I hope we ALL get acceptance letters. Best of luck to everyone!
  11. @AshReady2021 yeah the 1st time I did my worst in science and grammar usage. I guess we will have to wait and see. It's such a long waiting game. I applied 2 both the ASN and BSN and was enrolled to take Micro this semester but actually got accepted into CGTC's ASN program the 1st week of school at MGA, so I dropped Mirco and just taking A&P2 now. I literally applied to just about every program that I could within a 60 mile radius. LOL I feel like I have a good chance at the ASN program- then I will have to figure out which one I want to go to.
  12. @AshReady2021 I agree, I think it does depend on other applicants stats, the only definite is the GPA requirements. Your GPA is strong. What prep book did you use? I ordered my API book off Amazon and it helped alot! I took my 1st TEAS test in April and didn't really study much besides what we were covering in A&P1, made a 73. After really following that book for a solid month, reviewing all the systems and functions, I re-took my TEAS in May and made an 80.
  13. I will certainly keep you posted and thank you for the advice!
  14. It was opposite for me, I love A&P. LOL I'm not certain but I'm assuming letters will be sent out in Oct sometime. I seen somewhere on here that during the 2018/2019 cohort, they were sent out the week of Oct 26th so I'm assuming it will be around that time for us also. Over 2 months is certainly a long time to wait but I'm going to try and not get myself anxiety over it and focus on getting an A in micro.
