  21. OK I found this but it's 10 years ago: There are about 500 applicants each year. There is space for 64 students each year. The average GPA for the 2010 was 3.4. However, there were a few students near the minimum GPA that did make it. A large range of GPAs are accepted, but the most important factors are science/math GPA, letters of recommendation, and the personal statement. That means students with low GPA for their first bachelor’s degree should definitely try to get into this school with a stellar essay where the student pours her heart out. Because of the great importance of the personal statement, it should be carefully written and critiqued by others before submission. Your relief just made me less anxious for you as well XD
