Hi! Also class of '22. I know people who are in that program! You have an option to take a year and keep your spot in the program and get 1 year RN experience between MDE and DNP. I also found out about decisions in early January, so hopefully you'll be finding out soon! You sound like a good candidate so you might be eligible for academic scholarship too. Good luck!

For those moving to New York I wouldn't stress too much about apartments yet, you definitely have plenty of time. Most apartments are available to rent immediately or in the very near future. In all my past NY apartments I moved into the apt within a month of finding it, and my friends have had the same experience. So you have until like mid-April/early May to start looking!

Hi! tuition for 3 semesters is 89,858, plus some fees that prob come out to 2k. They did give me a decent amount of financial aid and scholarship money and a smaller unsubsidized loan. Definitely won't cover everything but it was pretty good!

Hi! What is everyone putting for expected graduation date?

End of January, but they're doing it in waves this year so it's gonna be different. I was hoping we'd at least get an update on timeline before Christmas and am def a little disappointed we didn't hear anything ?

Also this is just me being paranoid I've missed something but no one has gotten an email yet about a decision timeline, right?

My friend at columbia told me she saw an email about having the first virtual open house in the beginning on January, but who knows if that's the case. We didn't get any email about it so don't worry you're not missing anything!

Oh wow interesting! I submitted mine 9/29. Who knows! I wouldn't worry. Everyone will be getting this email eventually it just means that they've checked that they have everything they need for your application to be reviewed

I got that today too! I think they may be reviewing if your app is complete based off of when they get your app. When did you submit?

Hey guys, Not sure if anyone has already completed the video essay. I just finished the timed writing and saw the directions for the video essay and was kind of confused. Does anyone know what the practice question/section is about? Since we already have a question we are supposed to answer I'm not sure what that's about. Also, do we still get 3 tries for the video essay?

Hi guys! I'm applying to the MDE program for Summer 2021. I have heard a lot of great things about this program but also a lot of not so great things. I've also had a hard time getting answers back from admissions so I'm a little stressed about that side of things. I know it's just the first semester and you're all taking classes online, but how have you enjoyed your experience in the classroom so far? And have you had a lot of issues admin-wise? Thanks so much!
