Hi everyone! I was also accepted to Ammerman’s RN program. I’m open to either group me or facebook. I’ve never used groupme but facebook might be easier for other students who aren’t on this page to find. So maybe do both?

I’m in the evening RN program. The email was titled LPN-RN and evening students (meaning the evening RN program). I don’t know anything about the LPN-RN program whether it’s days or evenings but I believe the evening part was referring to RN students. When I first read the email I thought I was put in the wrong program until I reread it and saw “and evening students”.

I was also accepted to the Ammerman campus RN program. The schedule that was posted was for LPN-RN program, so maybe it will be different for us? I’m hoping so because as much as I’m nervous for clinical, I don’t think I would learn as much from online clinicals. When I was at the admissions office to pay my deposit they said we should be receiving info about the orientation “soon”

Congrats to everyone that was accepted. However there’s still no update on my portal. Is anyone else having this issue? I’m assuming I was rejected but I would appreciate it if they could at least tell me so I can stop refreshing the portal every five minutes. I called admissions this morning they said all decisions will be sent out by today. Then I called this afternoon and they said the portals may be updated tomorrow. I’m just so confused LOL

I haven’t heard anything either. I called admissions they said acceptances and denials will go out today.

Hi everyone! For those of you that were accepted, how did you pay the deposit? Do we have to go to the business office or is there a way to pay online?

Have you reached out to admissions? I submitted my application a few days prior to the deadline but I called them to make sure they received all of the documents. Maybe they were missing a piece of your application so it was marked incomplete? I would highly recommend reaching out to them. Students that were accepted have until November 10th to secure their seat in the program. So I am assuming shortly after the 10th they will reach out to those that were waitlisted.

I’m currently a student at Farmingdale and I haven’t gotten a decision yet either.

Hey! I called admissions they said decisions won’t be sent out until after November 1st. Letters will be mailed out and we will also find out on the ram portal or oasis if we are accepted. Good luck to everyone!

Are you saying you didn’t get in just because you didn’t get an email yet? Or did they send you a denial letter? I’ve only seen a handful of people saying they got accepted so far, so maybe they haven’t gotten to you yet! The fall start program has more seats so definitely apply again!

Hi! I haven’t started the application yet, but I am applying for Spring 2021 nursing program. I did see on the website it lists letters of recommendation, resume, and personal statement as “recommended documents”. I am not sure if there’s a place on the application to upload those forms.

Thanks for your help Tiffany. I’m applying to the evening RN program. I’m also applying to Farmingdale(which is my first choice) and stonybrook. I am thinking about sending an application to Nassau Community College, but I live in eastern Suffolk so Nassau is my last resort

Hi everyone! I reached out to the nursing department at Suffolk and did not get a response so I was wondering if any of you could help. I filled out the application and submitted my high school transcripts, college transcripts and TEAS score to the school. Is there anything else I have to submit? It feels like I am missing something. Is there an essay or anything else we have to do that I am missing? All of the other schools I’m applying to require an essay, letters or recommendation and an interview. Hi everyone! I will be applying to Farmingdale advance standing nursing program 2021 and I had a few questions. I just found this website and I don’t know if any of you are still on this website but I thought I would give it a try. My overall GPA is going to be a 3.3 my prereq GPA is a bit higher and I’m studying a ton for the TEAS exam. I’m hoping to do well on the TEAS to make up for my GPA. On the application does it have a spot to list any certifications such as CNA or CPR? I’m thinking about getting my CNA license if that will help my application stand out. Also did you have to go in for an interview? The applications don’t come out until August 1st but I’m anxious and excited.
