BSN classes are online. Semester 1: 12 hours (7 NCTC / 5 TWU) 5 classes Semester 2: 14 hours (8 NCTC / 6 TWU) 4 classes Summer 1: 9 hours (All TWU) *Can be split between two summers if you enter in the Spring 3 classes Semester 3: 15 hours (9 NCTC / 6 TWU) 5 classes Semester 4: 14 hours (8 NCTC / 6 TWU) 4 classes

With the blended ADN-BSN program it takes two years to get your ADN and BSN simultaneously. ADN Program= 2 years BSN Program = 2 years RN to BSN program = around 9 months If you got your ADN first (2 years) then did a RN to BSN program for your BSN it would take an additional 9 months to obtain your BSN. This 9 months does not include your basic pre-requisites that you have to complete BEFORE applying for the RN to BSN program. Those pre-requisites are your history, government, Chemistry, Microbiology, and other CORE classes. If you finish the BSN pre-requisites prior to applying for the ADN program then you may qualify for the ADN-BSN sister program. Admission into this program is not guaranteed BUT you have a chance. I got my fingerprints done on July 28th. Still no word on the drug tests though. And I am also waiting on the registrar office to finish processing my major change so I can enroll in those two classes! I'm really on the edge of my seat because they answered my first email fairly quickly but the second time I sent in my revised form it is taking them quite a while to actually process my change.

I also had 22 points. I do know that there was an overall reduction in accepted applicants due to COVID though.

Maybe everyone is running a little behind like we are... Corona season has everything in disarray LOL. I'm still waiting on my Major change to be approved ?

They may have many that qualify but they always invite less than 7 or 8 and it's up to those that are invited whether or not they want to participate. Once you're invited that's an automatic yes from them.

Oh so they are working fast over there. That's a good sign! I think she did say something about sending a packet out but I don't know when we will be getting them. They only accept a few into the blended program usually though. I think there was 6 of us in our cohort yesterday.

I was told to do the RN-BSN track. The only reason I am already enrolled is because I applied for the Traditional TWU program. I have known about the blended program at NCTC for a long time now but I didn't know the specifics either. Hopefully they admit you quickly, in my experience I applied on 9/11 and was accepted a few weeks later. Hopefully they'll expedite your applications since there shouldn't be a large influx of applications coming in right now. I think we are automatically accepted. You do have to email stankus telling her yay or nay though. I can't tell you how excited I am that I actually recognized two people in my cohort that are also doing the blended program though! I was very nervous coming into this since all of my friends didn't get in this semester.

No I was applying for the traditional BSN program. I'm going to email and ask how do I switch my degree plan though.

I have not gotten my drug test email yet I obtained my associate's degree at NCTC so I'm sorry I couldn't help you with that part of the process

Thank you for the congratulations! As far as applying for the ADN program at NCTC I never received any type of progress reports. I just submitted all of my paperwork along with my application and prayed for the best. If you want to know if your application or transcript had been reviewed yet then you can email them and ask but otherwise you get an acceptance or a denial into the program once they send out those emails. Is there a specific reason you are trying to get your transcript evaluated?

Hahaaa JK. They sent it to my personal email. And it looks like I'm gonna have a 3 hour drive ahead of me both ways if I schedule it now.

I did not... I have had my fingerprints done in Texas already but I don't know if I need to have them done again for the program.

Yeaaaaa I have absolutely no idea how it works. I do not have a bachelor’s degree but I finished all of my bachelor’s pre-reqs and my GPA was a 3.74. Fingers crossed that I qualify though!
