  1. Congrats!! I'm in Oct ABSN 2021 and we're currently in block 2. Unfortunately, you will need to be on campus from Monday to Friday. Our schedule was 8am - 11am, then open lab until 3pm. Open lab is optional, but you are required to be present from 8am-11am. As far as to block 4, we don't get our schedule a few weeks before the block starts. But it might just be online most of the time. message me on IG @iamjcv for any questions. Good luck! :)
  2. Congrats! Which campus did you get accepted to?
  3. Has anybody heard from Roseman about the roommate database?
  4. I got accepted to Henderson too! Do we have a facebook group yet?
  5. How did you guys find out? I've checked my email and website, still nothing on my end.
  6. I got an invite for interview this morning! The email says something about being evaluated on the writing component as well. Does anybody know how that works?
  7. NVM. I didn’t even get an invite for an interview from the first round. Congrats to those who got in!
  8. Keep refreshing my email but I still haven’t gotten an email yet. I’m afraid my reading score on TEAS was too low. I applied with 80.1 on TEAS, 3.5 science GPA, 3.7 cumulative GPA.
  9. Hello everyone! I applied for the august BSN a couple days before the deadline on May 1st. A couple days later, I received an email stating the application cycle had closed. So I rolled over my application and haven’t heard anything from them since. Here’s my stats... science and math GPA: 3.4 cumulative GPA: 3.7 TEAS: 80.1 im currently retaking my A&P1 to hopefully boost my GPA. I also plan to retake the TEAS in a couple months. Just waiting to hear back from a nursing program here in San Diego.
  10. Hello Everyone! I just started working on my personal statement. This is my first time writing one. So any advice from those who got accepted would be greatly appreciated. Send me a DM on here or ig (iamjcv) for any questions about my application. Thank you!
  11. Did anybody get an interview this week for august BSN? I submitted my application last week but the email I received yesterday said the application for BSN august has closed.
  12. It's an open enrollment, so I assume it's almost a first come first serve basis. When did ya'll submit your applications and receive an interview invite? Please update this thread if you've already been accepted to both Henderson and SJ. Thank you!
  13. I just got my transcripts evaluated by Roseman. My science and math GPA is 3.4 and overall prerequisite GPA is 3.7, and TEAS of 80.1%. Im currently retaking my A&P1 to hopefully improve my grade from B to an A and I will also be retaking the TEAS in July. I need some advice if I should apply for the August BSN before May 1, or just wait to apply for the ABSN in October. Also, does anybody know how many times ABSN meet in person? Thank you!
  14. @OlgaFutureRN You should still apply especially if you have 4.0 GPA. You never know until you try. And I don't think NU is biased. Most of us are transfer students and people get in (regardless of school) because of their overall scores (GPA, TEAS, interview). I think some people retake their pre reqs at NU and end up getting in because they've improved their grades. But I wonder if anybody else has heard about this?
  15. I'm scheduled 10/28 but I'll be registering another test for the first week of November, in case I don't score well the first time. I don't feel like Im ready for it.
  16. @2girls1cupnoodle I have emailed the National U's Nursing Department and they said "there aren't any particular score that is required but the average score of those getting accepted into the program range anywhere from 83% to 89%". It also depends on the average of all applicants. Top 90 gets invited for interview, then top 53 students get accepted into the program. My GPA is also my biggest concern. I got B’s in all science and A in bio stat. So I need to score high on TEAS.
  17. @Jax143 I think there’s only few spots left for the last week of October. But I registered for the TEAS ATI. I bought the book from ATI but not the package. they’re a little expensive for me. Let us know if it’s worth it.
  18. @2girls1cupnoodle I’ll take mine on oct 28 and I just started studying a couple days ago. I’m currently reviewing A&P and only giving myself 1.5 weeks to study science. Then 1 week each for math, and reading and English usage. I’m hoping to at least finish studying A&P by next week. So, let me know if you guys decide to meet up. I might be able to join in depending on my work schedule.
  19. I suggest going on ATI website and start registering for dates.. like now if you have not. The dates for end of October are getting booked/sold out. I registered to take the ATI proctored exam on Oct 28 a few weeks ago.
  20. I think if you've managed to get A's in all your classes, there's nothing you should be concerned about. English is my second language as well and I have the TEAS scheduled for last week of October. Reading and Science have the most number of questions on TEAS, so make sure you don't ignore those areas. I actually have those as my priorities. Good luck!
  21. I plan on applying to nursing schools that are not point system (like National U) because of the B's I got in all my science classes. I've noticed a huge gap between A and B. So, I don't think I'll have a chance at those schools. And some schools give extra points to those with CNA or similar work experience. But I will look into CSUSM. thank you! A friend just told me about the accelerated BSN at Brandman University. Never heard of it and upon researching, I found out their first cohort just started this Summer. Might be worth inquiring into?
  22. Is anybody else applying to other nursing schools? I think some schools have the application deadlines toward end of this year. Please share some accredited nursing schools you know of. I don't want to miss the deadlines especially those schools with only 1-2 cohorts per year. Thank you!
  23. Congratulations to those who got accepted! Are you guys able to share your stats (TEAS and GPA)? Thank you...
  24. Hi Jessica! I feel like I’ve seen you in other threads. Is this your first time applying?
