I only know this for ASU, but you apply directly to ASU online after you get accepted into the CEP program.

I think you can change your school! It wouldn’t hurt to message the advisor you sent your application to to see if this is a possibility. Good luck!

Did you apply to MCC? Who did you email yours to?

Has anyone heard back from MCC that their application has been accepted? I emailed mine Saturday afternoon and have not heard back. I’m tempted to email just to check, but I know the advisors are overwhelmed. I’m just stressing due to the due date coming up!

I wouldn’t be concerned. I’m not submitting my app until my final grades are posted. We have until the 7th to submit applications and then advisors make their choices the end of June. It is cutting it close though! Hopefully professors will get those final grades posted ASAP.

I have been waiting for this thread to start! program: ASU at MCC/Chandler Gilbert/Scottsdale HESI MATH: 76% HESI ENGLISH: 87% GPA: 4.0 Previous Bachelor’s:5 Total Points (if my GPA does not change): 86.85 I’m currently finishing up Bio 202 (strong A) and Bio 205 (barely an A). I’m hoping my GPA won’t change, but expecting it will. Microbiology is my least favorite class ??‍♀️

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on here so I hope I’m doing things correctly. I’m currently in school completing prereqs for an ABSN program in hopes to become an NP. I was doing research the other day and found an APNI program at Seattle U. It’s a four year program going from a BSN to a DNP. Because it’s a consistent four years, they state in the description that it may only be possible to work part time as an RN. My question is, is how ready would I be to work as an Advance Practice Nurse without previous RN experience? I’m extremely interested in this program, but also don’t feel 100% comfortable to take on that role if I don’t have previous experience. How would hiring look like if I did not work as an RN? I’m hoping to work in acute care.
