  1. AI will not replace nurses in hands on personal care such as the dreaded Code Brown however, it may start titrating all of the IV drips, administer all the medications and document vital signs. I think administrators will be the first to be replaced by AI. I could see AI enabling critical care units to be staffed by LVN or patient care techs, I think the medical surgical ward RNs will be a bit harder to phase out.
  2. Not so sure, there is already AI phlebotomy & in other industries AI hospitality represenatives
  3. Sorry to disappoint you but PACU & IR require more experience in critical care, I know it can be personally disappointing but patient safety should not take backseat. You can call me a hater but there is a reason that most are staffed with older critical care nurses. If interested in the procedural end of nursing GI & ambulatory surgery centers tend to be less acute. Good luck
