  1. Hey there! I’m unsure about they still as I’m finishing up 2 classes now and have only ever attended TCC. Join our facebook group. Just search “ tarrant county college nursing Spring 2021” That would be a good place to ask that question. Or call the nursing department directly, they are super helpful!
  2. Hey, great score! That’s the same score I got. And another person who commented here. They are no longer factoring GPA into acceptance! ? HESI only. Our odds are very good considering scores from previous semesters. Good luck to all of us!
  3. Yes we're all ready to begin, I am a little nervous about whether classes and clinical will resume as normal in the Spring. I am hopeful about that happening, but also cautious with the way things are with COVID right now.
  4. Yes exactly, except I heard they are looking at your score on the A&P and Math section of the HESI as a tie breaker (according to someone that asked the nursing department), but the department hasn't come out and said it so that may just be here-say. Summer classes are going as smooth as expected LOL, halfway done! I am excited to start this journey to say the least.
  5. Congratulations, I got a 94.4 as well! Grades in pre-reqs are no longer considered for admission. Only HESI score. I'm finishing up my last 2 pre-reqs now and will apply in August. Last application period, the cut-off for acceptance was 90.XX something, so we should be in! There's a group on facebook that about 40 of us are in. If you look up "Tarrant County College Nursing Spring 2021" you can join us :)
  6. Hi Carina, It is very fast paced. As soon as you get something down and are tested, you're onto the next thing. I have 2 lab quizzes per week. 2 lectures per week to watch. And lecture assignments as well. My lecture teacher is also unorganized and highly confusing. I just keep telling myself I need a C or better to be honest.
  7. That's a great score! I thought I was going to end up with something closer to that until I got to the reading section last. My scores were math:100 AP: 100 Grammar: 96 Vocab: 96 and reading: 80 ? I should have studied for that section. The cutoff last application period was somewhere in the 90.0 range so we will be fine. I got my titers already. The only things I have left are remaining HEP A & B shots and my TB skin test. It is stressful making sure you don't forget anything. I'm taking AP2 and Micro for Summer and it's no joke...
  8. They rate you by the overall score of all 5 topics. I have also been told that if 2 people are tied for the last spots, they will look at the AP and Math score as a tie breaker. You will want at least a 90 overall to be competitive. Good luck.
  9. Hey, everyone! How many of you are applying to TCC's regular track nursing program for Spring 2021? Admittance is ranked by HESI scores only. I'm finishing up my last 2 prerequisites now and will be applying with a 94.4%. Good luck everyone! What is your HESI stat?
