We can't pin this all on Trump or any one party, that is way too easy to do. Stuff like this goes back decades, even centuries. Trump did not break the system, rather he is a symptom of that system that was never right in the first place. Our history as a nation has benefitted greatly from just enough people who have chosen to do just enough of the right things when they could have exploited the system even more instead. They just give us the illusion that we have a choice in how we run things and painstakingly slow progress spanning those centuries is just enough to keep enough people happy and ignorant of what we could really have

I don't have exact dates. Try frequenting the old TCC applicant mega threads for applicants from past years. Sometimes there's past students on there. If I remember correctly some students did work despite it being discouraged just because it's a full course load. It boils down to if you can make it work with your schedule more power to you.

Both parties are terrible. Plain and simple, they aren't watching out for us. Second, school choice serves to benefit the same wealth who's been calling most of the shots that benefit them. Third, school choice will actually exacerbate more of the issues that already exist.

Social justice and progress are the absolute guarantors of riot prevention" The fact that you are so sure that court will happen and a verdict will be delivered and you speak of how "the system" should work shows that you have failed to see what's wrong with the system. How many times has this garbage happened and a court case was never even started?! Yes there are bad apples out there taking advantage but the response to the riots is by beating on the people still peacefully protesting? Go watch the videos! Several videos of rioters doing their thing unopposed while the peaceful protestors get sprayed, gassed, arrested, ran over, reporters blinded by rubber bullets, etc. These riots could have been prevented if our authority figures would do the right thing without needing Twitter to be flooded with videos making sure we keep their officers in check. And I'll throw in another quote from MLK: "I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season." I'm also considering TWU as someone in the DFW area. I will share some of the common things I've seen said around here and other sites. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Yes, BSN is the plan but sometimes the plan doesn't work out. Apply to multiply schools both ADN and BSN programs. Something to think about, if you apply only to TWU, don't get in, then that's another year of lost nursing income and schooling time. Hypothetically speaking let's say you do the ADN instead. One year in to the ADN, you theoretically get accepted to TWU on your second try, you're already in your last year of ADN, then you can bridge and you'd still get your BSN at the same time as you would have on a second attempt of applying BSN. Of course none of this matters if you're accepted BSN on the first try but point is, it doesn't work out that way for most applicants. You've already said it yourself, TEAS needs work. Your GPA is either ballpark average or slightly low depending on schools but generally speaking you got a good shot still if your anatomy and psych grades come back good. Have you ever done something as rigorous as ap1, 2, and psych on one Summer. I'd tailor your expectations on that one. It's still a marathon not a race and schools aren't gonna care if you tanked your grades whether it's Summer or fall. If I were you I'd be careful and really think about what you're about to do to yourself by taking two AP classes in Summer AND Psych. Right now when it really matters for prereqs IS NOT the time to find out if you can handle it because that's a costly mistake if you gamble and lose.
