Hi! Just to be on the safe side talk to your provider. Also if you take your shot records to cvs or Walgreens walk-in - they maybe able to confirm if you are good to go. I think for tdap (you had to have had that specific vaccine within the last ten years). I’m not sure if it’s the same for her b and the rest. I hope that helps!

Hey guys I’m sitting in a room drinking water because I wasn’t able to provide enough urine for the test (sorry too much info). If I can’t pee again. It’s an automatic refusal to test. Anyone deal with this or hear about this. I am freaking out. I loaded up with water. But still got here and nothing. I think I’m nervous and even more nervous now

Hey, when you click on the sign in, leave that tab open. Don’t close it after you’ve added all the necessary fields it’s asking you. There should only be the sign out time box that’s blank while you have separate tabs to watch your orientation videos. Once you are done watching all the videos, just go back to the open tab where you initially signed in and enter the time you finished, then submit it. I hope that helps!

Has anyone checked out the the list of classes? I’m still at work and haven’t browsed through it. Do we know if the classes are online or Hybrid?

@CamTrom98 I also sent it to health science and Lourdes responded confirming she received it.

health science dept just emailed back about the waiver. They said it’s okay, but that if we want we can change it to 2020 date.

Hey guys, I scheduled my physical, Tb, and immunization at USF health in early July. I realized that I scheduled it on orientation day and tried to reschedule. The one helping me said that they would have called to reschedule anyways because they’re pushing physicals off to August due to Covid. They’re trying to reschedule everyone who need a physical. I was able to change my immunization and Tb screening sooner- but my physical won’t be until the 4th (the earliest appointment they’re allowed to do physicals again). I know all facilities are different (I’m actually about to look around to see if cvs or Walgreens would be able to do it before any place else adopts the same rule), but I would call and check with your doctor to make sure they haven’t changed anything if you’re still needing a physical. I hope I’m the only one. I’m also emailing health science department to let them know later this afternoon. I hope this helps someone out there and they don’t have appointments cancelled last minute because of Covid

I had to call several times. Once you get them on the phone they’re quick to schedule and are super nice. I left a message on the system too but never got a call back. I would suggest calling again on all three numbers. You’re bound to get somebody. I would say though- they sounded really busy when I called

Just barely made the cut off at 3.9.I calculated my grade wrong and didn’t realized they counted my calc and my A for English I. What cohort are you in? This whole process had me sweating bullets. Now I’m sweating bullets trying to get the handle on everything we need to do and not mess up my paperwork. I even foldererd everything ? Have you worked on any of the other classes they listed under the nursing program? I was wondering how they’ll factor those in the semester. I did my nutrition and the rest of requirements besides the actual nursing courses and trying to knock out the ones I can do before transferring to USF for the bachelor’a program. I’m hoping they actually talk about Fuse too during the orientation

What is everyone doing about insurance? I have Medicaid- but under medically needy. Would I need to purchase short term insurance?

Hey I’m in the same boat! I got accepted into the Plant City campus but my paperwork is Dale Mabry. I’ll email again to see if it matters or if that is just the generic paperwork everyone submits. Good catch I didn’t even think about that
